The Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology Resident Scholar Program for historians, librarians, doctoral students, and Postdoctoral Scholars supported by the Dibner Fund.

Awards stipends of $3,500.00 per month for up to six months for individuals working on a topic relating to the history of science and technology who can make substantial use of collections in the Dibner Library.

Smithsonian Libraries is continuously analyzing its mission and goals in order to best meet the information and knowledge needs of new generations of users. It is a library system comprising 20 branch libraries serving the various Smithsonian Institution museums and research centres.

Applications must be submitted through the Smithsonian Online Academic Appointment system (SOLAA). You will be required to create an account.
