Beijing Sport University Belt and Road Scholarship for International Students in China, 2017

Beijing Sport University is looking for excellent applicants for Belt and Road Scholarship program in China. These scholarships are open for international students to pursue both degree and non-degree programme.

The aim of the scholarship is to promote cooperation, inclusiveness, and mutual understanding and benefits between China and other B&R countries.

Beijing Sport University (BSU) formerly known as “Central Institute of Physical Education” and “Beijing Institute of Physical Education” is a nation-level public university located in Beijing, China. It is one of the National Key Universities.

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue bachelor, master, PhD, Non-Degree Programmes.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award:  Scholarships will cover the followings:

Bachelor’s program (4 academic years)

  • Free tuition
  • Free accommodation on campus;
  • 800 RMB/month as living subsidy

 Master’s program (2-3 academic years) –

  • Free tuition
  • Free accommodation on campus; –
  • 1500 RMB/month as living subsidy

Ph.D program (3 academic years)

  • Free tuition
  • Free accommodation on campus;
  • 1800 RMB/month as living subsidy

Non- Degree  Programs.

  • Senior visiting scholar program (1 academic year or 1 semester) Free tuition
  • Free accommodation on campus
  • 1200 RMB/month as living subsidy

General visiting student program (1 academic year or 1 semester)

  • Free tuition
  • Free accommodation on campus;
  • 1200 RMB/month as living subsidy

Scholarship can be taken in China

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:

  • All courses are taught in Chinese. The applicants should have sufficient Chinese proficiency (HSK level 4 or above), or other evidence which indicates your Chinese proficiency is adequate.
  • The scholarship supports students who have no HSK scores, in which case they should take Chinese language training courses for one year before moving on to their degree study.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have previous year degree.

English Language Requirement: The applicants should have sufficient English proficiency or Chinese proficiency.

How to Apply: Applicants can apply via email.

  • Please provide the following information for all completed secondary, vocational, technical, and undergraduate or post graduate training and qualifications. Any incomplete courses should also be listed. One notarized copy of your official transcripts certificates and notarized copies of English translations of your highest education must be included with each application form.
  • Please state your knowledge of languages, especially Chinese and English. If you have passed a language test, please include a copy of the results in your application materials. This is very important because it will decide your teaching language in China.
