More than 10% of students studying in this university consist of international students. In the year 2012-13, the university ranked 99th.The university is known for its hardcore research with offering opportunities to work with world renowned faculty in fields such as the history of science, quantitative economics. The university offers Bachelor’s degree which includes combined bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and other degrees. The Volkswagen Foundation is supporting Global Challenges Fellowship to conduct research for journal articles and/or policy papers and participate in a series of small working group discussions and seminars. Applicants must hold an academic degree (master’s, PhD or equivalent) in the social sciences, humanities and/or law.
GEAS General Training Programme and PhD Fellowships
Graduate School of East Asian Study is offering up to twelve PhD fellowships to analyze the institutional environment of social, political, cultural and economic actors in the East Asian region. Fellowships will initially be granted for one year, and contingent upon a positive evaluation after each year of study, fellowships will be extended for another year.
Humboldt Research Fellowships for Postdoctoral Researcher
This fellowship is for scientists and scholars of all nationalities. The Humboldt Foundation grants approximately 500 Humboldt Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers.
