The Swansea University is pleased to offer up to sixteen fully funded scholarships for a full-time doctoral study on a Swansea University single award degree, commencing in October 2019, supported by its flagship Swansea University Research Excellence Scholarships Scheme (SURES).

The Swansea University Research Excellence Scholarships include fees at Home/EU rate and a maintenance stipend at UKRI rates, each for a maximum period of three years.

30 Full Government of Ireland IDEAS Master Scholarship Programme in Ireland, 2019-2020

­IDEAS Scholarship Programme is now open for applications for the academic year 2019-2020. A total of up to 30 full scholarships will be awarded to Vietnamese candidates.

The purpose of the Irish Aid IDEAS Scholarship Programme is to provide talented candidates with the opportunity to pursue advanced education and professional development in Ireland in order to contribute to the future development of Vietnam.

Vietnam with an area four times the size of Ireland has a population of over 88 million, and ranks 121st out of 187 countries on the 2014 UN Human Development Index, compared to Ireland’s 11th. 83 Fully Funded University Alliance DTA3/COFUND PhD Fellowships in UK, 2019

The University Alliance is pleased to announce the new programme for international PhD fellowships part-funded by the European Union. This is a three year fully funded fellowship available for worldwide researchers across a consortium of 15 universities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

University Alliance is a mission group representing and supporting modern civic universities with a professional and technical focus. Our work includes developing collaborative programmes through which our member universities seek to enhance their student experience and research such as the Doctoral Training Alliance – a unique cohort-based doctoral training programme with a strong interdisciplinary and industry-focused ethos. PKU-IIASA International Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Austria, 2018

The Peking University and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis International are calling applications for Postdoctoral Fellowship Program for the year 2018. The fellowship is open to applicants of all nationalities.

The new postdoctoral program is open to applicants of all nationalities and is aimed at training highly qualified early-career postdoctoral researchers to carry out research in fields of mutual interest at both PKU and IIASA, which include but are not limited to advanced methodology, technological, economic, and environmental challenges including pollution and risk analysis, energy, ecology, and ecosystems management, and natural resources including water.

The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is an international scientific institute that conducts research into the critical issues of global environmental, economic, technological, and social change that we face in the twenty-first century.

Scholarship Description:

  • Scholarship Award: PKU will pay fellows in RMB, even when fellows are working at IIASA. For each fellow, a monthly stipend of 15,000 RMB will be provided. While at PKU, a fellow may pay to live in the PKU postdoctoral flat or choose to receive a subsidy of 3,500 RMB per month and to find their own accommodation. While at IIASA, a fellow will be required to find their own accommodation, but will also receive an accommodation subsidy of 3,500 RMB per month (the equivalent in Euro). PKU will be responsible for bearing the costs of insurances for the fellow while they are at PKU. IIASA will be responsible for bearing the costs of the accommodation subsidy and health insurance for the fellow while they are at IIASA.
    Costs for relocation travel and the inaugural and subsequent exchange visits of the fellow between PKU and IIASA are borne by the receiving institution. The host supervisors of the fellow at PKU and IIASA are expected to cover the cost for conducting the collaborative research of the fellow and may cover extra travel expenditures.

The fellowship is open to applicants of all nationalities who are highly qualified early-career researchers. Selection is based on the academic excellence of the applicant, the quality of the proposed research project, compelling demonstration of the anticipated synergy of a joint postdoctoral project, and the commitment of the respective hosts at both institutions. The research proposal should include information on how the project will benefit from the research environments of both institutions and how the proposal interfaces the fellow’s own research interests with the research agendas pursued by PKU and IIASA

OKP & MSP Scholarships for International Students in Netherlands, 2019

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides OKP and MSP scholarships for the RNTC courses for media and communications professionals from a variety of partner countries.

Administered by Nuffic, the Netherlands Organisation for International Cooperation in Higher Education, these scholarships are open to international students.

The RNTC training center provides training for media professionals from all over the world: from journalists and programme-makers to social activists and communications professionals from non-governmental organizations.

    2) Declaration of value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or an ENIC-NARIC certificate attesting the qualification of the candidate or an Italian translation of the diploma sub 1);
    3) Certificate of the National Higher Education Entrance Examination, if compulsory for eligibility to undergraduate programs in the country where the candidate have studied;
    4) Eventual proof of Italian language knowledge.
  • To enrol in a Master’s degree course:
    1) Pdf copy of the BA degree and trascript of records;
    2) Declaration of value (Dichiarazione di Valore) or an ENIC-NARIC certificate attesting the qualification of the candidate or an Italian translation of the diploma sub 1);
    3) Certificate of the National Higher Education Entrance Examination, if compulsory for eligibility to undergraduate programs in the country where the candidate have studied;

Students who are still in the process of earning their diploma/degree at the time of application can submit a letter of enrolment together with their official high school mark sheet or university transcript of records.
