The National Society of Newspaper Columnists Education Foundation is offering an annual Dear Abby College Columnist Scholarship Contest to attract aspiring college-age writers.

The award is designed to recognise the outstanding work of aspiring journalists. The goal of the program is to inspire and facilitate young people to consider careers in journalism and support to college publication columnists.

NSNCEF is a tax-exempt non-profit foundation that incorporated in 2003, in Texas. It brings up training opportunities for columnists and others interested in column writing.
