  • The student must be in valid F-1 status with the Department of Homeland Security by the start of the academic term in which the scholarship is to be awarded
  • The student must be in good financial standing at UND
  • To qualify, students must fall under one of the below categories:
  • Canadian students of Finnish ancestry
  • Finnish students of Finnish ancestry
  • Bahamian students
  • Students should exhibit traits in the following:
  • Strong work ethic
  • Sound moral character
