UWA Sport in partnership with the School of Human Sciences at the University of Western Australia are delighted to announce the Doctor of Philosophy Scholarships for high-achieving athletes for the academic year 2022-2023.

These research scholarships have been created to bolster UWA’s research in applied sports science and to continue to contribute to the pursuit of excellence in the areas of participation, performance, and inclusion in sport at UWA.

The University of Western Australia was established in 1911 by an act of the Parliament of Western Australia and began teaching students two years later. It is the sixth-oldest university in Australia and was Western Australia’s only university until the establishment of Murdoch University in 1973.
