The University of Kent has decided to award two academically excellent PhD students the Migration and Movement Signature Research Theme PhD Scholarships in the UK for the academic year 2022-2023.

This scholarship is a mix of the Abdulrazak Gurnah Doctoral Scholarship and Migration and Movement Doctoral Scholarship, which will cover the overseas and home tuition fees. Selection will be based on academic merit. The scholarship is valued at £15,609.

  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2:1) and a Master’s Degree (at Merit or Distinction) in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institution or equivalent experience in a professional setting.

The PhD candidates selected by the University of Kent for the Migration and Movement Signature Research Theme PhD Scholarships will be provided home/overseas tuition fees with an annual stipend of £15,609.
