The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is pleased to announce the PhD Scholarships in Prediction and Prevention of Psychosis Using Biological and Clinical and Non-Clinical Cohort Data. Applications are open for the academic 2022-2023.

This project focuses primarily on both the prediction and prevention of psychosis using biological and other clinical and non-clinical cohort data. Eligible students will win an annual stipend of €18,000 along with PhD fees.

Established in 1784, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is a medical professional and educational institution, which is also known as the RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ireland’s first private university. RCSI’s main campus is situated on St. Stephen’s Green and York Street in central Dublin and incorporates schools of medicine, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and nursing. • Knowledge and awareness regarding existing clinical high-risk and early intervention psychosis services.
• Strong statistical skills (particularly longitudinal analyses and predictive modeling).
