Penn Dental Medicine Dean’s Scholarship

Faculty PhD Scholarships at University of Sheffield
The University of Sheffield invests a significant amount of funding each year in order to support the very best postgraduate research students in dentistry. For entry in 2020, each Faculty is offering a number of scholarship awards on a competitive basis. These scholarships fund up to three years full-time or six years part-time study, subject to satisfactory progress. Part-time studentships are paid at 50% of the full-time rate.

ITI Scholarship Program
ITI (International Team for Implantology) awards up to 20 dentistry scholarships each year to help young clinicians further their training in implant dentistry and related treatments. The ITI Foundation awards each ITI Scholar a stipend to the value of CHF 35,000 for the entire year. Sound knowledge of the local language of the preferred ITI Scholarship Center is required. The ITI Scholarship year starts each year on September 1 and ends on August 31 of the year following application.

Sir Thomas A. Hunter Scholarship in Dentistry
The dentistry scholarship shall be awarded by the University Council to a dental graduate of the University of Otago. Preference is given to candidates whose intended careers is in teaching and research. The scholar shall pursue a course of full-time study and research at the School of Dentistry. Applications deadline is 1 April each year.

SUMS scholarships for International Students
As an international student, you need to verify that you have the funds for your tuition and living costs during your stay as a student. Shiraz University of Medical Sciences will award a variety of scholarships which may lead to the full waiving of the expenses. All international students are eligible to apply for the scholarships.

Dr. Fanny N. Freund Advanced Education Scholarship
The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is awarding scholarships to provide support to advanced education students who are pursuing a career in academics. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in an advanced education program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Up to $12,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded annually with a maximum of three recipients receiving equal scholarship amounts. The 2020-2021 application cycle will open in fall 2020.

UCSF School of Dentistry Scholarships
The Office of the Dean awards approximately 13 merit and need-based scholarships each year to admitted students. Award amounts range from $5,000 to $40,000 per year. There is no separate scholarship application; all admitted students are considered for the scholarship.

University of Otago Scholarships, Prestige and Named Prestige Scholarships
The University of Otago Prestige Scholarships $1500 and University of Otago Scholarships $750 are awarded by the University Council on the basis of high academic achievement, to students who are completing either the third year of a specific degree programme (Bachelors degrees in Applied Science, Dentistry Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Surveying, Physical Education or Physiotherapy) or completing the 300-level Major subject requirement of other degree or diploma programmes. Maple Leaf Dentistry Scholarship
Maple Leaf is offering dentistry scholarship to a student pursuing an undergraduate degree. To be eligible a student must have contributed at least 100 hours of volunteer work over the last two calendar years. Students must also possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their last academic year. The award values $500. The last date of submitting applications is 30th May.

Foo Chin Dentistry Scholarship
