MS International Federation McDonald Fellowships for Developing Countries
MS International Federation is awarding a number of McDonald Fellowships to young researchers from emerging countries. Fellowships enable the recipient to travel to an established research institution to work with leading researchers in MS with a view to returning to their own country to establish a programme of MS research. The fellowship consists of a two-year grant, around UK £30,000 per year, to cover travel and living costs, and an additional contribution of UK £2,000 per year to the host institution. The deadline for nominations is 30 June 2017.

QMUL Latin American Fund Partial Scholarships for El Salvador Students
Queen Mary University of London is inviting applications for Latin American fund partial scholarships. Applicants must apply for the programme of study before you apply for the scholarship – your application ID number is a requirement. The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) and the School of Economics and Finance are offering five partial scholarships worth 50% of the tuition fee each to outstanding Latin American full time candidates. The application deadline is March 28, 2017.

FIG Foundation PhD Scholarships for El Salvador Students
FIG Foundation is offering PhD scholarships for applicants from low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy. The FIG Foundation will be providing scholarships of up to 4,000 euros to PhD students. Applicant must be studying for a PhD degree and registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic programme that teaches surveying are eligible to apply. The application deadline is February 1, 2017.

Adelaide International Undergraduate El Salvador Scholarship
El Salvador scholarships are offered for undertaking undergraduate programme at University of Adelaide in Australia. University of Adelaide provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the program, up to a maximum of four years. The application deadline for students commencing in Semester 1 2016 is 20 January 2017.

EDCTP-TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowships
EDCTP and WHO/TDR are jointly implementing clinical fellowships to support researchers and key members of clinical trial research teams from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). WHO/TDR will fund fellows employed by a research institution (home organisation) in any LMICs for placements in pharmaceutical companies and PDPs (host organisations) either in or outside Europe. The application deadlines are 28 January 2016 (Stage 1) and 21 July 2016 (Stage 2: Training plan – EDCTP only).

Victoria Latin America Doctoral Scholarships for El Salvador Students
State Government of Victoria in partnership with Victoria’s universities are inviting applications for Latin America doctoral scholarships. The successful applicants will receive a scholarship of AUD$90,000 to cover living expenses over three years and a full fee waiver. The Victoria Latin America Doctoral Scholarships are funded by the State Government of Victoria in partnership with Victoria’s universities. The Victorian Government will contribute AUD$45,000 for the duration of the PhD, with universities contributing the remaining AUD$45,000 and a fee waiver.

Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career DMS International Federation Fellowship Program
The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and OCLC jointly sponsor up to five individuals annually to participate in a four-week intensive Early Career Development Fellowship program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. The Fellows visit many libraries, cultural heritage institutions and library organizations. Promising library and information science professionals from Developing Countries who are in early stages of career development and who meet all of the qualifications are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is February 12, 2016.

OAS-VUB Masters Scholarship for El Salvador Students
The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Free University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel i.e. VUB), through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC) are inviting applications Masters Scholarship Program from OAS member state. Scholarships are awarded for 10–22 months duration master program. The application deadline is January 24th, 2016.

Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship for Women from El Salvador
International Peace Research Association Foundation is awarding up to two Senesh fellowship for women from developing countries. Fellowships are available for applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree, who have been accepted into a graduate program and whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of IPRA. The Fellowships provide $5,000 per year for two years for both women, for a total of $10,000 each. Applications are due by January 15.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health Tropical Medicine
Fellowships are available for research training at Master’s degree level. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A period of 12 months should normally be dedicated to undertaking a taught Master’s course at a recognised centre of excellence, combined with up to 18 months to undertake a research project. Applications will close on 7 December.

IGA WGC2015 Short Course Fellowships for Developing Countries
The International Geothermal Association with support from the World Bank via the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program awards fellowships for developing countries’ citizens to attend the WGC2015 course. The course will take place in Melbourne, Australia from 17-19 April 2015, just prior to the WGC2015. Up to 25 fellowships are available for support up to 2,000 USD each. Targeted participants include mid to upper level management personnel and drilling supervisors. The application deadline is 31st January.

ISA Call Applications for COMRA Fellowship and Engineering Training Programme
The International Seabed Authority invites applications for training fellowship to provide on-land training opportunities in 2015 for four trainees from developing States. COMRA will pay for a round-trip airline tickets (economy class) for the trainees. Local ground transportation, accommodations, travel insurance and allowance will be also provided by COMRA. Two trainees will receive training in a five-month fellowship programme between March and July 2015 and another two trainees for a six-week engineering training programme between March and April 2015. The application deadline is 20 January.

Japan Foundation for UNU (JFUNU) Scholarship Programme, Japan
United Nations University is offering sustainability scholarship for outstanding applicants from developing countries to undertake MSc programme. The JFUNU scholarship provides a monthly allowance of 150,000 JPY for living expenses for a maximum of 24 months. The tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients. During admission selection process, outstanding applicants with financial need will be automatically considered as candidates for the award of the JFUNU scholarship. Thus, no separate application is necessary. The application deadline is 27 February.

TWAS-USM Fellowships for Visiting Researchers in Malaysia
TWAS-Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is inviting applications for fellowships for visiting researchers. Fellowships are open for scientists from developing countries (other than Malaysia) who wish to pursue advanced research in natural sciences. Fellowships are tenable for a minimum period of one month to a maximum of three months at a school/department of the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. The application deadline is 15 September.

3ie Scholarship for Developing Countries at University of East Anglia
University of East Anglia is inviting applications for 3ie scholarship. One 3ie scholarship is available for applicants from less developed countries who apply for a place on the Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. The Scholarship covers £10,000 of the course tuition fee and one return economy flight. The scholarship is provided to study Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. All applicants are expected to have met the School’s English language requirements and been offered and accepted a place on the course by this date. The application deadline is 30 May.

EDCTP-TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowship Scheme
EDCTP and TDR are jointly awarding clinical research fellowships for the researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). For EDCTP, the applicant must be the legal entity registered in a sub-Saharan African country employing the fellow. Fellowships are awarded to acquire experience and develop skills for conducting clinical trials outside of an academic or public sector setting. Successful candidates will be placed with leading product development organisations, including pharmaceutical companies and product development partnerships – the ‘host organisations’. Placements are for a minimum period of 6 months up to a maximum period of 24 months. The application deadline is 30 January.

TWAS Research Grants Programme in Basic Sciences (Consortia) for Developing Countries
Applications are invited for TWAS research grants available for a period of 18 months. Grants are awarded to high-level promising research projects in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics carried out by research consortia in the 81 S&T-lagging countries identified by TWAS. Applications from women scientists and those working in Least Developed Countries are especially encouraged. Research Grants to research consortia amount to a maximum of USD20,000. The deadline for receiving applications is 31 August.

ANZCA International Scholarship in Australia or New Zealand
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists is offering training scholarship available for the citizens of a developing country to pursue additional training in Australia or New Zealand. The scholarship is designed to increase the recipient’s capacity to advance anaesthesia and/or pain medicine for the benefit of his or her community. The scholarship is intended to allow the recipient to join the staff of a major hospital or rotation in Australia or New Zealand for a period of up to one year. The application deadline is March 30th.

TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral El Salvador Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for fellowships for young scientists from El Salvador who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in physical sciences. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. The monthly stipend will not be convertible into foreign currency. The application deadline is 15th September.

TWAS-SN Bose El Salvador Fellowship
El Salvador fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry. Applications must be submitted by 31 August.

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Fellowships cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must not hold any visa for temporary or permanent residency in Mexico or any developed country. The application deadline is 15 September.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral El Salvador Fellowship Programme
El Salvador fellowships are available for pursuing postdoctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applicants must apply for the fellowship within five years of having obtained a PhD degree in a field of the natural sciences. The deadline for applications is 15th September.

Developing Solutions Masters El Salvador Scholarships
Applications are invited for developing solutions El Salvador scholarships for 2014/15 intakes. 15 fully funded scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus. The application deadline is 9 October for December intake.

TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral El Salvador Fellowship Programme 
El Salvador fellowships are awarded in the field of biotechnology (Structural, Cell and Molecular Biology and Biological Systems and Organisms). Applicants must not hold any visa for temporary or permanent residency in Thailand or any developed country. BIOTEC will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications should be submitted by 15 September.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for El Salvador Students
El Salvador fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness. Applicants must provide a certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor. The deadline for applications is 31st August.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program
El Salvador fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August.

ICO Three-Month Fellowships in Ophthalmology
Fellowships provide young ophthalmologists with exposure to and training in several subspecialties in ophthalmology. Applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of applying. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses. The application deadline is September 30 each year.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
El Salvador fellowships are obtainable for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications will close on 15th September.

Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Award
Awards are available to undertake vocational education at a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree level. The award provides support for English Language Training worth of $10,000 up to 6 months, if required. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over at the commencement of their programme. Applications will close on 30th June.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for El Salvador students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. Closing date for submitting applications is 15th September.

INSA JRD-Tata Fellowship Programme for El Salvador Students
The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) offers fellowship programme for El Salvador students. About 10 fellowships are awarded annually. The maximum period of award will be for three months. Selection is based on the recommendations of a committee consisting of eminent scientists. Last date of submitting applications is 31st October.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Fellowships for El Salvador students are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. The deadline for applications is 31st August.

New Zealand Development El Salvador Scholarships
New Zealand Development Scholarships are well known scholarships which are awarded each year by New Zealand Government. The El Salvador scholarships provide financial support for tuition, living costs while in New Zealand and airfares for the duration of the study programme. The scholarship application deadline is June 1.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme accessible for El Salvador students.
