  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:
  • UK and International applicants are welcome to apply.
  • Applicants must be classified as international students for fee purposes.
  • Applicants must be starting a full-time, campus-based Masters’s course in the College of Science and Engineering, commencing in January 2023, September 2023, or January 2024.
  • The fee discount will be calculated on the basis of the standard tuition fee for each year of their course.
  • The scholarship will not apply for periods of industrial placement or overseas exchange, resit years, or if you suspend their studies for any reason.
  • In accordance with scholarship guidelines, students are allowed to hold only one University of Leicester scholarship. If applicants are awarded more than one scholarship, they will only receive the higher value award.
  • If applicants currently have a conditional offer of a place at the University, they will still need to fulfill any conditions stated in their offer letter.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: There is no need to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered. If successful, applicants will be notified when they submit their final results.
  • To be enlisted in the program, applicants must have to enroll in the PhD degree program at the university. After that, you have to complete the online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: With the application, include the following:
  • CV
  • Personal statement explaining, briefly, your interest in the project and your relevant experience
  • Degree Certificates and Transcripts of study already completed and if possible transcript to date of study currently being undertaken
  • In the reference section please enter the contact details of your two academic referees in the boxes provided or upload letters of reference if already available.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants are required to hold/or expect to obtain a UK Bachelor Degree 2:1 or better in a relevant subject or overseas equivalent.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants must meet the English language requirements of the university.
