50th Anniversary PhD Scholarships at Kent University in UK, 2017
Kent University invites application for 50th Anniversary PhD Scholarship. Scholarships are open to both UK and international students for entry in September/October 2016. The scholarship covers tuition fees at the postgraduate standard home/EU rate in addition to an annual maintenance stipend of £14,057 per annum (for entry in September/October 2016 only). Applications are invited for Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program from Azerbaijani Students for 2016-2017 academic year. The Graduate Institute, Geneva offers need-based scholarships to students from Africa to undertake a MA or PhD in its discipline: international history, international economics, political science/international relations, anthropology and sociology of development, international law, and development economics. Davies-Jackson Scholarship for US Students at University of Cambridge in UK, 2017
Applications are invited for Davies-Jackson Scholarship from students who are among the first generation in their families to graduate college. Scholarship is awarded to participate in a course of study at St. John’s College at the University of Cambridge. Following the completion of their first year of study some Scholars have opted into a one year M. Phil program at the discretion of the Senior Tutor at St. John’s. Scholarship covers all fees, room, and board during term-time for up to two academic years (beginning in September), and living expenses during summer vacation.

University of Oslo is inviting applications for PhD research fellowship in sociology. Applicants must have a master’s degree/second-level degree in Sociology. The master’s thesis must have been submitted before the application deadline. Canterbury Christ Church University is awarding full-time PhD Scholarships for the academic year 2015-2016. Scholarships cover the costs of full-time tuition and provide a maintenance grant. LPS PhD Scholarships at University of Sussex in UK

University of Leicester is inviting applications for international scholarship scheme within the college of social science. Up to 40 scholarships are awarded for one year master degree program. Scholarship has a value of £2,500 GBP. The scholarships are awarded in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable. For scholarships, candidates must not be in receipt of a full scholarship (tuition fees and living costs) from any other sources. Tilburg University Scholarships in Netherlands

Humane Studies Fellowships in USA
Applications are invited for Humane Studies Fellowships to pursue a liberty advancing career in academia. Fellowships are only open to IHS alumni. Fellowship program awards up to $15,000 that can be used toward tuition, fees, living costs and other expenses associated with a PhD program. Fellowship also comes with individual advising and access to an extensive support network of over 5,000 scholars to help ensure academic success, both before and long after they receive their degree. The application deadline is January 31.

BGHS Start-up Scholarships for International Students
Applications are invited for six-month doctoral scholarships available for international graduate students in the area of history, sociology, anthropology or political science at Bielefeld Graduate School. The grant consists of a stipend of 1,200 Euros per month. Recipients receive the opportunity to prepare a convincing proposal for a dissertation project. Successful candidates may subsequently apply for a doctoral scholarship, for employment or for a doctoral degree programme at the BGHS or elsewhere. Applicants should speak either German or English. Application should be submitted till 15th January.

SPAIS Postgraduate Research Scholarship
The School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies (SPAIS) is offering a postgraduate research scholarship for a new Home (UK or EU) student for September 2015 entry. Scholarship is available for pursuing full-time or part-time postgraduate research  programme in all areas of sociology, politics or international studies at the University of Bristol. Scholarship covers tuition fee and a maintenance stipend of the RCUK minimum per annum for 3 years. The applicant deadline is 19th June.

Doctoral Grants at Freie University
This scholarship is for pursuing PhD at Freie University Berlin’s in Germany. Duration of grant is of three years which covers scholarship amount, additional funds for equipment and traveling, stipend. Applicant must have a master’s degree in the field of American Cultural Studies, American Literature, History, Political Science, Sociology and Economics.Application closing date is January 3.

ISEAS Masters Scholarships
The Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) offers masters scholarships for Singaporean scholars. Applicants have to be prepared to take up courses and/or carry out research on Southeast Asia. Scholarships will be offered for one or two years. The application deadline is 31st January.
Masters and PhD students are granted Sociology scholarship for research and preparation of research projects. The travel research scholarship is awarded once in a year which covers local travel and living expenses. Some 20–30 scholars associated with Nordic universities, colleges and research institutions are eligible for this scholarship. The deadline for applications is 31 January.

CHF Short and Long-Term Fellowships 
Chemical Heritage Foundation is offering several short-term and long-term residential fellowships for 2015-2016 academic year. Fellowships are available for research on the history of chemistry, broadly construed. Fellowships are awarded for periods of 1 to 4 months (short-term fellows) or 9 months (long-term fellows) and are spent in residence at CHF in Philadelphia. There are three kinds of long-term fellowships: one for senior scholars, one for new PhDs, and one for PhD candidates at the dissertation stage. All long-term fellows are provided with a private office, a computer, and a direct telephone line. Short-term fellows are allocated a carrel in the Othmer Library’s reading room. Wireless Internet access is available in the reading room. The application deadline is January 15.

Onassis Foundation- 20th Foreigners’ Fellowships Programme
Onassis Foundation is funding Sociology scholarships available for University Professors of all levels. This programme is available for scholarly research or artistic creation in Greece and in Humanities, Social Science, Economic Science and Arts. The deadline for applications is January 31st.
