Innovative International Scholarships – Merit Scholarship in Australia, 2015
Curtin University is inviting applications for innovative international scholarships – merit scholarship. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree at Curtin University. The students of Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe can apply for these scholarships. The application deadlines are 13 February 2015 and 17 July 2015.
MMDP Full Scholarships for Developing Countries in Netherlands, 2015
Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs awards up to ten full scholarships to government officials from 40 developing countries with at least three years’ experience in the field of migration and/or asylum. Scholarships are awarded for at United Nations University-Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT). The application deadline is 16 January 2015.
Curtin International Merit Scholarship in Australia, 2015
Curtin University is inviting applications for international scholarships – Merit scholarship for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree level. TICA Fellowships for Annual International Training Courses (AITC)
Applications are invited for training fellowships available for Early Childhood Health Care Management course. This is a 4-week training program designed for professional nurses and other related health care personnel regarding to early childhood health care. Applicants must be educated equivalent to bachelor degree of university or technical college. Up to 20 (18 for Foreigners and 2 for Thai) fellowships are awarded. The application deadline is March 31, 2015.

Federal Environment Ministry’s (BMU) International Climate Initiative Fellowships are awarded for Sri Lankans. There are 20 fellowships granted annually for pursuing research programme in Germany. Fellowships are open for young climate experts from developing countries interested in conducting a project in Germany and developing long-term collaborations. Students must submit their applications on or before 15 March, 2015.
Merit Plus Scholarship for Sri Lankan Students in Australia, 2015
Queensland University of Technology, Science and Engineering Faculty is inviting applications for Merit Plus Scholarship. Scholarships are open for Sri Lankan students for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree level. Applicants will receive: a fee scholarship of 25% of your first semester fees and an ongoing fee scholarship of 25% per semester, provided you meet the academic conditions. The application deadline is 1 December 2014.
NEWRI Lien Environmental Fellowship Programme, Singapore, 2015
The Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute Community Development (NEWRIComm) is inviting applications for Lien Environmental Fellowship. Fellowship is awarded to students for pursuing research programme. Students of India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Sri Lanka can apply for this scholarship. Chevening and Cambridge Commonwealth and European Trust are offering up to twenty Chevening Awards to undertake a one year master program at Cambridge University. 2015 Commonwealth Medical Fellowships for Sri Lankan Students, UK
UK Department for International Development (DFID) is offering applications for Medical fellowships available for doctors and dentists from Developing Commonwealth Countries. These fellowships are for mid-career clinical staff to learn a new medical or dental skill, to practise the new medical or dental skill and to network with others in the same and related specialties. Awards are tenable for between three months and six months at any approved UK University Hospital; experience suggests that a minimum of 4 months is sensible. The closing date to submit the application is 3 December 2014.

Developing Country Eye Researcher Travel Fellowships, 2015
ARVO Foundation for Eye Research in partnership with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology is offering research travel fellowships for developing countries applicants. These fellowships are to pursue a career in teaching and research in any area of eye and vision research, whether basic or clinical research in applicants’ home countries. Fellowship covers transportation, lodging and per diem, in addition to registration for the ARVO Annual Meeting and complimentary ARVO membership for one year. Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program for Sri Lankans, 2015
The Asia Foundation is offering development fellowships for young professionals from Sri Lanka to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of Asia’s critical development challenges. It is a year long fellowship program involving intensive learning modules – short courses, conferences and study tours in Asia and the USA. It is not a full-time fellowship. Fellows will typically remain in their occupations throughout the fellowship year while participating in the programs modules. The deadline to submit the application is November 12, 2014.
Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program in Japan, 2015
The Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP) is offering scholarship program for pursuing undergraduate, master, doctoral and professional degree program at Kyoto University. Approximately 15 Scholarships are offered. Scholarships are offered for maximum of two years. Scholarships are open for citizenship of an Asian country other than Japan. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants going to enroll as a regular (degree-seeking) student (master’s [post-doctoral], doctoral, 5-year doctoral, professional degree program) at a graduate school of Kyoto University in October 2014 or April 2015, and planning to complete that degree program in the standard number of years. Application should be submitted till September 15, 2014.
Japan-WCO Human Resource Development Scholarship
Applications are invited for Japan-WCO Human Resource Development Programme to undertake Master’s level studies at the Aoyama Gakuin University (AGU) in Tokyo, Japan. This scholarship is awarded to young customs officer of a developing member of the WCO with quality work experience of at least three years in the field of customs policy and administration in his/her home country.
New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships
The New Zealand Government offers commonwealth scholarship for the students of participating developing commonwealth countries. The scholarship is offered for master and PhD studies at New Zealand universities. The scholarships will cover tuition and enrolment fees and provide an establishment allowance, a basic stipend, approved scholarship-related travel, some course-related costs and medical and travel insurance.
INSEAD Ian Potter ’93D and Family Endowed Asia Scholarship
INSEAD is offering Asia Scholarship to pursue MBA programme at the Asia Campus in Singapore. Candidates from Asian countries are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates from developing countries and Singaporeans. The scholarship values up to €10,000. The scholarship is awarded exclusively to candidates in need. The application deadline is 16th July 2014.
ICTP Master Scholarships in Medical Physics
Applications are invited for master scholarships in Medical Physics. A limited number of partial or full scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates from developing countries. ICTP will also cover, on the basis of a detailed request, travel costs and course fees for a limited number of successful candidates from developing countries who are not awarded the full scholarship. The application deadline is August 31, 2014.
Mexican Government Scholarship Program
Applications are invited for Mexican Government scholarship program available for foreign students. Scholarships for academic studies are offered for those who preferred to take complete programs for Specialization, Master’s or PhD Degrees and Postgraduate Researches. Likewise, the offer includes academic mobility for Bachelor’s and Postgraduate Degree. On the other hand, the scholarships for special programs are offered to take short-term fellowships addressed to Visiting Professors, Researchers in Mexico’s issues, Media Contributors, Art Production Fellowships, etc. The application deadline is July 31st, 2014.
2014 DAAD Master Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is funding master scholarships in Public Policy and Good Governance at German institution in Germany. A monthly scholarship rate of currently 750 € will be awarded. Scholarships also provide health insurance, travel allowance as well as a study and research subsidy and in applicable cases accommodation subsidies and/or family allowances. The next application deadline is 31st July 2014.
Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) invites applications for college scholarships available for international students to study at a Japanese college of technology. A graduated grantee will be awarded a diploma and an associate degree. Scholarship awards will be tenable for four years from April, 2015 to March, 2019 including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects due to be provided upon arrival in Japan.
Westminster International Scholarships
University of Westminster offers international scholarships for students from developing countries to pursue master program. These fully funded scholarships will include full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need and development potential. Preference will be given to junior faculty members of partner Universities in Vietnam. Application should be submitted till 17th October 2014.
MMMF Grant for Women of Developing Countries
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is offering grant for women of developing countries in South Africa. Applicant must be women and enrolled at the University of Pretoria, the University of Cape Town, the University of Stellenbosch or the University of Witwatersrand. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2014.
Fulbright Masters Student Awards for Sri Lankan Citizens
Applications are invited for Fulbright Masters Student Awards available for Sri Lankan students to do their postgraduate (master’s level only) study in American universities. Graduates who have not had extensive prior exposure to the United States are encouraged to apply. Awards are available in the field of Social Sciences & Humanities, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Architecture and Engineering, Commerce and Management Studies. Application should be submitted till 30th of July 2014.
MBA Scholarships at University of the West of England
University of the West of England, Bristol is offering MBA Scholarships for South American, Nigerian, Ghanaian, Indian, Nepalese, Sri Lankan and Chinese, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Indonesian students. Up to four scholarships are available for one per region. The scholarships will provide 100% of fees (£15,000). Application should be submitted till 1 July for the MBA commencing in September and 1 November for the MBA commencing in January.
