Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships Uganda, 2014
Applications are invited for up to twelve Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarships to pursue bachelor and masters degree at Uganda Martyrs University. Scholarships are awarded in two disciplines: Local Governance and Human Rights (Bachelor and Masters Degree) and Democracy and Development Studies (Bachelors Degree). The scholarship shall cover the cost of tuition and the residential workshops as charged by the university. The application deadline is 30th May, 2014 

Emerald MSc Studentship at King’s College London in UK, 2014
King’s College London is offering Emerald MSc studentship for students of Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Nepal, India and Ethiopia. This MSc studentship is being awarded by the EMERALD project in order to build capacity in mental health system delivery and performance in EMERALD countries. The overall value of MSc Studentship is £35860 (£22660 for fees + £13200 for living costs). The application deadline is 30 April 2014.

Africa LLM/MSc Scholarship in UK, 2014/2015
University of Edinburgh Law School is offering Law scholarship for LLM/MSc applicants who are African nationals. The 2014/15 scholarship will give preference to qualified applicants from Central Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, DRC, CAR, Cameroon, Nigeria, Togo, Ghana, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia and Guinea. Scholarship will cover the full cost of overseas tuition fees and provide a maintenance grant of £7000. The application deadline is 23rd May, 2014.

African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships
The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), in partnership with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is offering about 20 doctoral dissertation research fellowships. Each award will be up to a maximum of US$10,000. These fellowships will be awarded to doctoral students who are within two years of completing their thesis at an African university. British Council Scotland Commonwealth Scholarships in UK, 2014
Applications are invited for British Council Scotland Commonwealth Scholarships available for students from Commonwealth countries. Scholarships are open for literature and creative writing students to attend the summer school. Two 2-week Literature scholarships and one 4-week Creative Writing scholarship will be awarded. Mo Ibrahim Foundation MSc Scholarship for Ugandans

Applicants must have the equivalent of a first class UK bachelors degree and be African nationals domiciled (or permanent residents) in an African country. Applicants should reach at least level 6.5 in the IELTS or 580 /93 for TOEFL. INSA JRD-Tata Fellowship Programme for Developing Countries 
The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) offers fellowship programme for developing countries in India. Applicants possessing Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Science or equivalent degree in Engineering/ Medicine and allied disciplines may apply.  Candidates below 45 years of age may apply. The application deadline is 31st October each year.

INSEAD Mette Roed Heyerdahl Memorial Scholarship for Ugandans

Federal Environment Ministry’s (BMU) is funding International Climate Protection Fellowships for Ugandans. The fellowship is awarded in climate protection and climate-related resource conservation. Up to 20 International Climate Protection Fellowships are granted annually for a period of one year in Germany. Online application will be submitted by 15 March 2014.
