There are number of Dominica scholarships and fellowships sponsored by several organizations and institutions which are awarded each year. Listed scholarship programs intended particularly for Dominicans to undertake their academic programs in diverse academic majors. You can search for the Dominica scholarships to study natural sciences, Chemical and Biological Sciences, Computer Science & Entrepreneurship, Chemical Engineering etc. These financial aids and grants provide opportunities to Dominican students for pursuing undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies leading to doctoral and research degrees. Sadako Ogata Masters Scholarship
University of London is offering masters scholarship for lower and middle income countries students to start their studies in March, 2017. Up to two prestigious scholarships are available to pursue MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies. Scholarship covers the ‘whole fee’ for the programme, comprising two Core Module fees, four Elective Module fees, and the two Dissertation modules fees. The application deadline is 16 January 2017.

Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship
This early career development fellowship program provides early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals from countries with developing economies. Up to five individuals are selected each year for participation in this intensive four-week Fellowship Program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. Fellows visit selected libraries and cultural heritage institutions, meet with leading information professionals and observe OCLC’s governance structure in action. The application deadline is February 12, 2016.

Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships
The Leakey Foundation is inviting applications for Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. It is limited to two years of support. The maximum award is limited to $15,000 per year. The application deadline is February 15 2016.

FIG Foundation PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries
FIG Foundation is offering PhD scholarships for applicants from low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy. The FIG Foundation will be providing scholarships of up to 4,000 euros to PhD students. Applicant must be studying for a PhD degree and registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic programme that teaches surveying are eligible to apply. The application deadline is 1 March 2016.

2016 EDCTP-TDR Clinical
EDCTP and WHO/TDR are jointly implementing clinical fellowships to support researchers and key members of clinical trial research teams from Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). WHO/TDR will fund fellows employed by a research institution (home organisation) in any LMICs for placements in pharmaceutical companies and PDPs (host organisations) either in or outside Europe. The application deadlines are 28 January 2016 (Stage 1) and 21 July 2016 (Stage 2: Training plan – EDCTP only).

INSEAD Deepak and Sunita Gupta Endowed Dominica Scholarship
Dominica scholarship is available for pursuing master degree level at INSEAD Business School. Scholarship has a value of up to €25,000. Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of financial need. Last date of submitting applications for Round 2 will close on 30 December 2014 and Round 3 applications will be accepted from 16 February 2015 to 2 March 2015.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters’ fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. The application deadline is 2 March 2015.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Dominica fellowships are available for pursuing postdoctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of the natural sciences.

MBA Dominica Scholarships at University of Glasgow
Dominica scholarships are available for pursuing master degree at University of Glasgow in UK. A total of 5 scholarships are available. The value of each scholarship is £5,000. The criteria for the scholarships are academic excellence and personal achievement.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for Dominican
Dominica fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. The full time fellowship is granted for maximum 4 years for PhD Sandwich Fellowships. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for Dominican
Dominica fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year.

Developing Solutions Masters Dominica Scholarships
Dominica scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Nottingham in Malaysia. 15 scholarships of 100% tuition fee are available for Dominican students registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus.

TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Dominica fellowships are available for undertaking postdoctoral programme at Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology. TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at IROST.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Dominican students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded.

SFIAR Awards for Dominican Students in Switzerland
The Swiss Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) is offering award in agricultural research. The prize sum of the SFIAR Award is CHF 5’000 for a PhD or Post Doc project and CHF 10’000 for a team project.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
Dominica fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Dominica fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months.

TWAS-SN Bose Dominica Fellowship
Dominica fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme available for Dominican students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance.
