Edinburgh Global Latin-American Masters Scholarships in UK, 2015-2016
The University of Edinburgh is inviting applications for Latin-American masters scholarships. Six Edinburgh Global Latin American Masters Scholarships are available to students from eligible countries for postgraduate Master’s study in any subject offered by the University for the 2015-2016 academic session. Each scholarship will have a value of £5,000, to be deducted from tuition fees and will be tenable for one academic year. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. The application deadline is 1 April 2015.
University Prize Scholarships at University of Sheffield in UK, 2015-2016
University of Sheffield is inviting applications for PhD scholarships open to UK, EU and international applicants. Applicants should be applying to start their first year of study on a full-time or part-time PhD with the University. Applicants should have or expect to achieve a first or upper second class UK honours degree or equivalent. These scholarships fund up to three years full-time or six years part-time study, subject to satisfactory progress. Part-time studentships are paid at 50% of the full-time rate (i.e. £10,000 maintenance per year). The applications deadline for 2015-16 entry is 3rd February 2015.

For September 2015 academic session University of Glasgow is offering 5 scholarships worth £10,000 each towards the tuition fee of a one year Masters programme. Masters scholarships are open for the students from Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico or Thailand within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. University of Groningen Talent Grant for Master Programmes in Netherlands, 2015-2016
Applications are invited for University of Groningen Talent Grant available for excellent candidates from Brazil, China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico and Russia. The grant values 50% of the annual tuition fee to be paid in monthly installments as a contribution in living costs. In 2015-2016 this will be €450 per month. The grant is awarded for the maximum duration of the Master’s degree programme. This means 24 months regarding a 2-year Master’s degree programme, 18 months regarding the Master’s degree programme Journalism, or 12 months regarding a 1-year Master’s degree programme. The application deadline is 1st March.
UNESCO/Japan Young Researchers’ Fellowships Programme, 2015
Applications are invited for up to 20 available UNESCO Fellowships to undertake postgraduate research in one of the four areas of development of particular interest to UNESCO. Research must be carried out under the auspices of an academic supervisor in a host institution. Candidates must be no more than 40 years of age and must be persons of high intellectual promise who may be expected to make significant contributions to their country on return. Priority attention will be given to women candidatures, candidates from least developed countries (LDCs) and African researchers. Selected beneficiaries will be required to submit an interim and a final report describing the results of the research undertaken. The application deadline is 26 December 2014.
USQ Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships in Australia, 2014

Hague University provides a total of 9 World Citizen Talent scholarships to students who would like to start their Master programme for the academic year 2014-2015. At € 5,000 each, the scholarships cover a large sum of the university’s tuition fee and will only be offered once. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver. University of East Anglia provides international development excellence awards for Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Brazilian and International Students. All students who have completed their undergraduate degree at UEA will get an additional 20% fee reduction. Application should be submitted till 15th March 2014 and 31st March 2014.

The International Council of Ophthalmology is funding fellowships in ophthalmology. There are approximately 60 fellowships. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses.
