Cargill provides Global Scholars Program to talented, high performing university students who demonstrate exemplary academic achievement and leadership potential. The scholarship will be awarded to the students who will study regarding the field relevant to Cargill’s world of food, agriculture and risk management. The Cargill Global Scholars Program involves the following countries: Brazil, China, India, Russia and the United States. Scholarship will be offered for up to three years. Application will close on March 1, 2014.
Edinburgh Global Latin-American Masters Scholarships in UK, 2014/15
University of Edinburgh offers 12 Edinburgh Global Latin-American Masters Scholarships.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who are pursuing Master’s programme of study at the University of Edinburgh. Each scholarship values £5,000 and will be tenable for one academic year. The scholarship will be taken at UK. The last date of application is 1 April, 2014.
PhD Scholarships for Research Excellence from Brazil in UK, 2014
University of Nottingham and the University of Birmingham are funding 20 PhD scholarships for Research Excellence from Brazil in UK. 20 full tuition fee scholarships are available at the University of Nottingham and University of Birmingham (10 each). Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time research degree programme, PhD or MPhil degree level in September or October 2014. The application deadline is 28th February 2014.
Newcastle University is providing three research scholarships for Brazilian students to pursue a PhD research programme at the University. Scholarships are provided in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, Medical Sciences and Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering. Scholarships will be offer for the duration of the course. Each award (value approximately £5,000 to £9,000 per annum) covers the difference between fees for UK/EU students and international students. The last date of submitting application is 25th April 2014.
Orange Tulip Scholarship Brazil for Master Students in Netherlands, 2014/15
Nuffic Neso Brazil again invites applications for its second call for Orange Tulip Scholarship Brazil program for Brazilian students. Full scholarships or partial on the value of Tuition Fee (tuition) of Masters or MBA program are awarded at participating universities in the Netherlands. Scholarships are awarded for the whole duration of the master courses. Application will close on March 24th 2014.
University of Ghent is inviting doctoral scholarships in Belgium. Scholarships are awarded to PhD students from developing countries who wish to carry out their PhD research at Ghent University. The candidate will acquire scholarship for 24 months which will be divided into several periods within a span of 4 years. The application deadline is March 4, 2014.
International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) of the Open University, UK is funding postdoctoral fellowships at the ICGEB laboratories located in Trieste and Monterotondo (Italy), New Delhi (India) and Cape Town (South Africa). The deadline for complete applications from nationals of ICGEB Member States must be sent to the ICGEB Liaison Officer in the applicant’s country of origin, for endorsement on 31, March 2014. Last submission date of endorsed applications to ICGEB Trieste is 30, April 2014.
ICO Three-Month Fellowships in Ophthalmology for Developing Countries, 2013/14
The International Council of Ophthalmology is funding fellowships in ophthalmology. There are approximately 60 fellowships. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses. The study subjects are: General Ophthalmology, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Uveitis, Glaucoma, Cornea & External Diseases, (no Refractive Surgery), Medical Retina, Vitreo-Retinal Surgery, Oculoplastics, Cataract Surgery, Ocular Oncology, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Ocular Pathology and Community Eye Health. The application deadline is March 31 and September 30 each year.
School of International Development Excellence Awards for International Students in UK, 2014
University of East Anglia provides international development excellence awards for Japanese, Korean, Mexican, Brazilian and International Students. All students who have completed their undergraduate degree at UEA will get an additional 20% fee reduction. Application should be submitted till 15th March 2014 and 31st March 2014.
World Citizen Talent Scholarships for Master’s Students in Netherlands, 2014/15
Hague University provides a total of 9 World Citizen Talent scholarships to students who would like to start their Master programme for the academic year 2014-2015. At € 5,000 each, the scholarships cover a large sum of the university’s tuition fee and will only be offered once. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver. Last date to submit the application is 31st of March 2014.
USQ Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships in Australia, 2014
The University of Southern Queensland provides international postgraduate scholarships for Semester 2, 2014. Candidates must be intending to study full-time, on-campus at USQ Toowoomba, Springfield or Fraser Coast. Students must be able to study in Australia on a student visa. This scholarship is only available if you are a newly commencing international student. The scholarship will have a maximum value of $5,000. The application will close on 14 March 2014.
