ICTP Shiing-Shen Chern Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is inviting applications for Shiing-Shen Chern Senior Postdoctoral Fellowship. It is intended for young mathematicians of any nationality; women are particularly encouraged to apply. Fellows must have completed a PhD in mathematics prior to the start of their Fellowship. The fellowship has especially attractive terms with a total tenure of 3+2 years, starting on 1 September 2017. The application deadline is January 7, 2017.

CERN Fellowship Programme for Graduates
CERN invites applications for Graduate Engineering Training (GET) scheme for engineering graduates for the year 2017. Approximately 200 fellowships will be offered for national of a CERN Member State. Candidates should apply through the standard Fellowship programme and will be automatically considered by a panel of CERN experts for a position within the scheme. A limited number of positions are also available to candidates from non-member states with a senior profile. Fellows stipends are calculated individually – stipends are competitive and net of tax. The application deadline is 1 March.

CERN Doctoral Studentship Programme
CERN is inviting applications for doctoral studentship programme. In order to be eligible for this studentship, applicants need to be a national of a CERN Member State and studying in a member state. Studentships are awarded for 6 months initially, and are normally renewable for two further periods of 12 months. The application deadline is 26th April.

MBA Scholarship for Italian Students
SDA Bocconi School of Management is inviting applicants for MBA Scholarship. Scholarship is available for Italian students who are interested in pursuing a career in the Finance sector. To be eligible for the scholarship candidates must have obtained admission to the MBA 2017-2018 program. Student will receive scholarship of 48.000 Euro for the entire duration of the program. The application deadlines are February 29 (1st Round) and April 30 (2nd Round).

CERN Post Career Break Graduate Fellowship
CERN invites applications for post career break graduate fellowship from students wishing to re-start their careers. Fellowships are awarded both for research work (experimental or theoretical physics) and advanced development work and related research in a broad range of applied science, computing and engineering fields. The application deadline is 1 March 2016.

Erasmus Scholarships for Master Studies
Erasmus Scholarships is open for masters students in the field of Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling during the edition 2016-2018. There are two types of scholarships directed to partner countries and programme countries. Scholarship is open for students from any region of the world who have obtained a bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related degrees).  Scholarships will cover tuition fees, living and travel expenses. Carlo Giannini Research Fellowship
Applications are invited for Carlo Giannini Fellowship to undertake advanced research in econometrics in an Italian university. The competition is based on candidates’ curriculum, research papers and publications, and a research project. The fellowship will start on October 1, 2016 and entitles the winner to an yearly sum of Euro 50,000, gross of all taxes and social security contributions. The fellowship amount will be disbursed to the winner, as a monthly salary, by the CIdE. The application deadline is January 31.

Umberto Veronesi Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships for Italian and Foreign Researchers
Umberto Veronesi Foundation is offering 130 postdoctoral fellowships (120 -12-month-long research grants and 10- 6 month-long travel grants) to top level scientists in the field of biomedical research. The 12-month fellowships are available for undertaking research in excellent Italian institutions. The 6-month-long fellowships are available for researchers to spend a 6-month period of work  in a top-level laboratory or clinical department of foreign institutions. The total amount of the fellowship is 27,000.00 Euro for each grant (before tax) for 12 months or 15.000 euro (before tax) for 6 months in case of Travel Grants. The application deadline is 15th of September 2016.

UNIVPM Masters Scholarships for International Students
Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM) is offering up to 10 masters scholarships who will matriculate in the first year of the Master’s Degree in International Economics and Commerce (IEC). These scholarships will be awarded on merit to all foreign nationals, including Italians with double citizenship.

Wolfgang-Gentner Fellowships at CERN in Switzerland
Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is offering Wolfgang Gentner Fellowships for EU Member States of CERN. Fellowships are awarded for a period of up to three years to pursue doctoral program at CERN. These fellowships are open for students who are studying at a German university or intending to study there. The participants of the doctoral program receive a tax-free residence payment and other possible benefits such as family or child allowances in accordance with the services provided by the CERN Doctoral Student Programs. The application deadline is October 30.

ESA Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme in Space Science
European Space Agency is offering postdoctoral research fellowships in space science. The programme is open to suitably qualified applicants who have completed their PhD (or equivalent) or will have completed it by the start of the fellowship. Preference will be given to applications submitted by candidates within five years of receiving their PhD. The salary of ESA fellows falls within a pre-determined range and varies depending on qualifications and experience. Average monthly net salaries (tax free) are around € 2500. Marie Skodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researcher and PhD Position
University of Padua with the AMVA4NewPhysics is offering a PhD position in Physics. The research topic envisioned for the ESR, who will be hired by INFN with a 36-months full-time contract at the Padova section of INFN, focuses on the detailed study of the Higgs boson using advanced Machine Learning methods for signal extraction and measurements. Marie Sklodowska-Curie PhD Position at University of Padua
Applications are invited for a Marie Skodowska-Curie PhD position in Statistical Sciences at the University of Padua. Italian Institute for Historical Studies is awarding up to fifteen competition scholarships for Italian and Non-Italian graduates and doctors. Scholarships are awarded in the disciplines of history, philosophy and literature. Candidates must be less than 32 years of age by the date of 1 September 2015 and have discussed their final university dissertation before the final application date. The scholarship will be paid to the successful candidates in twelve monthly installments starting from November. The application deadline is 1 September.

PhD Studentship in Theory of Partial Differential Equations
University of Sussex is offering PhD studentship in Theory of Partial Differential Equations and applications to Mathematical Fluid Mechanics. Applicants should have a Math’s or related degree. Studentship of £14057 (2015-16) per annum tax-free bursary and waiver of UK/EU fees each year for 3 years. Full-time study will be awarded to the applicants. The application deadline is 31 August.

PhD Scholarships for Italian and International Students
Scuola Normale Superiore is awarding up to 86 fully funded PhD scholarships for Italian and International citizens at university campuses (Pisa and Florence). Scholarship includes tuition, fees, and a cost-of living stipend (14,187 euro per year, plus free meals). The PhD courses have a duration of three years, except for those in “Biophysical Sciences” and in “Neurosciences”, which have a duration of four years. University of Sussex Fully-Funded PhD Studentship at Department of Mathematics
Applications are invited for three-year, fully-funded PhD studentship, available in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Sussex. In order to qualify for this position applicants must have resided in the UK or Europe for three years prior to the start of the position. Cardiff University PhD Studentship in Physical Chemistry
Cardiff University is offering a PhD studentship in the area of Physical Chemistry starting from 1st of October 2015. Studentship is open to UK nationals and EU students who can satisfy UK residency requirements. To be eligible for the full award, EU Nationals must have been in the UK for at least 3 years prior to the start of the course for which they are seeking funding, including for the purposes of full-time education. Master Scholarship in Human Rights and Conflict Management
Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is offering a master scholarship in Human Rights and Conflict Managements programme in the memory of Gualtiero Fulcheri-former UN Assistant Secretary General. NATO Defense College (NDC) PfP, MD and OMC/PAG Fellowships
Applications are invited for NATO fellowships in the field of defence & security policy research & related to NATO and its partners. Two Fellowships are available for candidates from PfP countries, two for candidates from MD countries, two for candidates from NATO countries, and one for a candidate from an OMC/PAG Country. OECD CRP Research Fellowships for Participating Countries
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is offering research fellowships for research scientists working in agriculture, forestry or fisheries to conduct research projects abroad. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a country that currently participates in the OECD Co-operative Research Programme (CRP) and the collaborating host institution must be located in another participating country. Fellowships may be from 6 to 26 weeks. The applications deadline is 10th September.

IAAD Undergraduate Scholarships for Italian Students
The IAAD (Italian University for Design) awards scholarships for Italian students attending one of the undergraduate degrees (Bachelor’s degrees) available at IAAD. The scholarship contest is open to everyone who must be 27 years of age or younger and is attending the last year of the high school or already earned the degree. The application deadline is September 4.

MBA Scholarships for Italian Students
Scholarships for Italian students are available for pursuing masters degree at MIB School of Management of Trieste in Italy. The scholarship covers only the programme fees or part of them. Scholarships are valid only in the academic year for which the scholarship has been awarded. The scholarships are granted on the basis of personal merit and according to specific criteria determined by the companies offering the scholarships. The application deadline is 31 August.

LUISS Guido Carl Postgraduate Fellowships to Study Abroad
LUISS Guido Carli invites applications for postgraduate fellowships for the 2015-2016 academic year. These fellowships are available for graduates and final year students in master’s degree programs at LUISS Guido Carli who have been admitted to a postgraduate specialization program at a distinguished foreign university or research institute for the 2015-2016 academic year. LUISS Guido Carli grant a total of €45,000.00 in fellowships. The fellowships are meant to cover tuition costs. The application deadline is June 24.

University of Lugano Study Grants for Master’s Programme
For the academic year 2015/2016, the Foundation for the Lugano Faculties of the University of Lugano will award a total of 60 one-off study grants of the amount of CHF4’000 each. The scholarships will be awarded on merit based, grants are given to first year students admitted to a USI Master program. The application deadline is July 31st.

Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowships in UK or Overseas
Applications are invited for Sir Henry Wellcome postdoctoral fellowships in Biomedical Research to individuals with a relevant connection to the European Economic Area. Candidates will be expected to identify an important biomedical research question and to develop and deliver a personal programme to achieve their research aims. The fellowship is for four years full-time. Fellowships may be taken up on a part-time employment basis with the tenure of award lengthened accordingly. Preliminary application deadline is 15 May 2015 and full application deadline is 17 July.

Newcastle University Promise Scholarships for Italian Students
Newcastle University has invited applications from students to pursue undergraduate degree program. University is offering up to 20 undergraduate scholarships. The value of scholarship is £9,000 per year. The scholarships for Italian students are awarded in 2 parts: 50% cash bursary and 50% tuition fee discount. EU students will only be considered for the tuition fee discount. Students of high ability from low income backgrounds are selected.  The closing date for Stage 1 applications is 8th May and for Stage 2 applications is 17th July.

Excellence Scholarships for Italian Students
Applications are invited by Aberystwyth University for Excellence Scholarships. Up to 100 excellence scholarships for Italian students will be awarded. Scholarships will be awarded for the duration of the course. The value of this excellence scholarship is Rs. 1,000 a year. The Scholarships will be awarded to the highest qualified candidates. The deadline for application is 30th June.

Giorgio Cini Foundation Scholarships for Italian and Foreign Applicants
The Giorgio Cini Foundation is offering three short term scholarships for studies focused on the Benno Geiger Archive. The scholarships lasting one month are offered to Italian and foreign graduates, postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers under the age of 35 on 31 January 2015. The scholarships must be used by staying at the “Vittore Branca” International Center for Studies of Italian Culture in the period from November 2015 to April 2016. The deadline to apply is 30 June.

Call for 2015-2016 SSSA PhD Fellowships in BioRobotics
The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa invites applications for funded PhD positions available in the BioRobotics Institute. Up to 12 PhD fellowships will be awarded as follows: 6 positions are funded with scholarship and 6 positions are funded with research fellowship. Scholarship of 16,000.00 euros gross is paid to payee in deferred monthly installments. Fellowship of 19,367.04 euros gross is paid to payee in monthly installments. Students that are going to obtain the Master of Science Degree no later than October 31, 2015 can also apply. The application deadline is June 22.

Baltic Master of Fine Art Scholarships at Northumbria University
Northumbria University is offering two Baltic scholarships for Master of Fine Art (MFA) program. Starting in September 2015 the Scholarships are applicable to those applying to the full time, September start, MFA programme and are only open to applicants from the UK and EU. The decision to offer a place will be based on interviews along with the completed application form, portfolio, the supporting statement and references. Scholarship application deadline is 8th June.

PhD Studentship in Engineering (Anomaly Detection in Videos)
Applications are inviting for 3-year funded PhD at the School of Engineering’s Health, Technology and the Digital World Theme at Cardiff University in conjunction with Loughborough University. This studentship consists of full UK/EU tuition fees, as well as a doctoral stipend. The application deadline is 15 June.

PhD Scholarships in Statistics and Mathematical Finance
The University of Milan-Bicocca is offering PhD scholarships in Statistics and Mathematical Finance for Italian and non-Italian candidates. Scholarships are awarded on merit based. For the academic year 2015-16 the PhD program is expected to admit 6 students with scholarship. A student on a scholarship will receive for the three-year period approximately €1300,00 net per month. The application deadline is June 15.

SCAR and COMNAP Fellowship Schemes in Antarctic Research
The SCAR and COMNAP Antarctic Research Fellowships are available to undertake short-term visits to major international laboratories, field facilities and/or institutes in or operated by other SCAR and COMNAP member countries. Four to five SCAR Fellowships and one or two COMNAP Fellowships will be made in total, depending on the quality of the applications and the budget available. Awards will be up to USD $15,000, providing, as needed, economy-class round-trip travel and a modest subsistence allowance for the fellowship period. The closing date for application is 3rd June.

PhD Studentships in Innovation and Energy Demand
The University of Sussex invites applications for PhD studentships in the area of Innovation and Energy Demand to join the Centre on Innovation and Energy Demand (CIED). Applicants for studentship should possess a good first degree (1st or 2:1) in a relevant subject. Studentship includes home fee waiver, currently £4,052 pa, plus stipend of £13,590 pa for a maximum of three years. The application deadline is 31 May.

Giulia Mereu Scholarship at University of Essex 
The Giulia Mereu Scholarship is awarded annually to a student applying for LLM in International Human Rights Law or LLM in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the University of Essex.

PhD Scholarships in School of Social Sciences
University of Trento, School of Social Sciences is offering 22 PhD Scholarships for Italian and international students. Scholarships are awarded to study Economics and Management, Development Economics and Local Systems and Sociology and Social Research. The scholarships are awarded for three years which cover living expenses in Trento. The deadline for applications is May 28.

European Union Masters Scholarship at University of Nottingham
University of Nottingham is awarding up to 10 European union masters scholarships for September 2015 intake. Scholarships include full tuition fees. Maximum tuition fee covered under each scholarship £6,310. Applicants can apply for this scholarship if they already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme in any subject area including MRes at Nottingham excluding MBA. Students should submit the applications by 22 May.

ROSE MSc Scholarships in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology
UME Graduate School of the IUSS Pavia is offering MSc scholarships in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology programme. A number of scholarships and/or tuition waivers are awarded to the highest-ranking applicants for this 18-month MSc programme. The application deadline is May 18.

Alfred Toepfer Natural Heritage Scholarships
EUROPARC Federation with support from the Alfred Toepfer Foundation F.V.S. awards three visiting scholarships to promising young conservationists, who are committed to working for the benefit of Protected Areas. Scholarships are awarded to undertake a 4 month study visit on a particular theme to one or more Protected Areas in a European country. The awards will each be worth EUR 3.000. The application deadline is 8th May.

University of Edinburgh Business School European Scholarships
The Business School will offer up to ten European scholarships, each with a value of either £5,000 or £7,000. The scholarships are available to students who are nationals of European Economic Area countries. The application deadline is 8 May.

Full Doctoral Scholarships in Economics for International Students
Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and University of Strasbourg are offering four full scholarships for doctoral program in economics. Teaching and research supervision is offered by an international faculty composed of both internal faculty of Sant’Anna and of the University of Strasbourg and a large group of Visiting scholars. Applicants, with no restriction on nationality, must hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or a Master of Arts (M.A.) or equivalent title. The scholarship is amounting to € 14.000 (gross amount) per year + free lunches at the canteen of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced + Campus facilities. The application deadline is May 7.

Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for Research Excellence (European Union)
University of Nottingham is inviting applications for Vice-chancellor’s scholarships available for students who are classed as a European Union (non UK) students for fee purposes. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing full-time research degree programme, PhD or MPhil programmes in September or October 2015. Up to 30 full tuition fee scholarships, each including an additional £8,400 stipend per annum will be awarded. The application deadline is 8 May.

Trentino University Foundation Grants for Italian Students
The Trentino University Foundation awards grants for projects including internships or training periods abroad, and an internship carried out in a company/institution located in Trentino. The project shall last at least 6 months abroad and another 6 months in the local company/institution. Projects can receive, for the period abroad, a maximum coverage of € 7,200 euro (before tax), evaluated with respect to the project duration and destination. The closing date for application is April 20.

Research Fellowship for Italian and International Students
Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is offering a research Fellowship for both EU and non-EU citizens. This fellowship is awarded to work on a project, “Bayesian hierarchical models to improve prediction of Tropical Atlantic Variability” within the Department of Environmental Sciences, Informatics and Statistics. Fellowship lasts 12 months, with the possibility of renewal within the limits of art. 2 of the Regulations for awarding of university research fellowships, which will be subject to a specific contract. The research fellowship amounts to Euro 19,367.00 minimum per year, gross to the recipient. Students must apply by 5 March.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Student Scholarships & IMRD
Applications are invited for Erasmus Mundus scholarships to joint master degree programme in Rural Development. The programme is jointly organised by six European leading institutes in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development in collaboration with several partners in the United States, China, Ecuador, India and South Africa. The last date to apply is March 15th.

Erasmus Mundus MEEES Scholarships for Italian Students
Scholarships for Italian students are awarded in the field of Earthquake Engineering and/or Engineering Seismology. These scholarships are awarded for 18-months MSc programme at MEEES consortium which comprises of four academic institutions. There are three types of scholarships are available within the scope of the MEEES programme: Category A Scholarships for third-country nationals, Category B Scholarships for European applicants and Consortium Scholarship for students of any nationality. The scholarships range from 15,000€ (Euro) to 38,000€ (Euro). Students must apply by 30 March.

Korean Government Scholarship Program for International Graduate Students
Applications are invited for Korean Government Scholarship program from graduate students. The applicant and his/her parents must have foreign citizenship. Up to 820 scholarships for master and PhD programs and up to 20 scholarships for research programs will be awarded at participating Universities in Korea as designated by NIIED. After the Korean language course, the scholarship period of degree course (2 years of master’s or 3 years of doctoral) cannot be extended beyond the designated duration. Research scholars are exempted from Korean Language Course.

Jemolo Fellowship for Italian Researchers
Jemolo Fellowship is awarded for the students to pursue research at the Nuffield College. Fellowship is open for both Italian researchers and non-Italian scholars carrying out work on Italy to spend a period at the College to pursue  research, further study or advanced training. The fields covered by the fellowship are Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Modern History and Public Law. The Fellowship covers travel expenses, the right to a study/bedroom, with en suite facilities, and common table rights (meals) in College. The closing date for applications is 1 April.

Harry & Helen Gray/AICGS Reconciliation Fellowship for Italian Students
Applications are invited for Harry & Helen Gray/AICGS Reconciliation Fellowship for Italian Students. Fellowships are open to practitioners as well as to PhD candidates and postdoctoral fellows for conducting research. Fellowships are awarded to work on topics concerning reconciliation and foreign policy. Up to two fellowships will be awarded. The Fellowship runs from August 1 to September 15, 2015. The fellowship includes a stipend of $4,500, transportation to and from Washington, research expenses, and office space at the Institute. The closing date for application is April 15, 2015.

Director’s European Union Scholarships for Italian Students
University of Kent is funding five European Union scholarships for MSc programme at Kent Business School. Students will receive a 50% reduction of their tuition fees at enrollment. Applicants must be resident in the UK or Mainland Europe and hold a European passport. Applications will close on 31st May.

PhD Studentship for Italian Students in Organisms and Environment
Cardiff University is offering PhD Studentship for Italian Students.  Studentship is awarded in Organisms and Environment for a research project on Forest edge effects on wood decomposition and fungal community development. One PhD studentship is available for three years. Residency Fellowship for Artists at La Macina di San Cresci
La Macina di San Cresci is offering residency fellowship for Italian students. This program is open to artists between 18 and 35 years old. Four artists (or more, depending on the success of fundraising efforts) will be selected for students. The duration of the residency will be one month. Funds are given in one payment at the beginning of the fellowship period. The cost of each residency is € 2250. The applications deadline is December 31.

Fulbright Grants for Italian Citizens in USA
The Commission for Educational Exchange between Belgium, Luxembourg, and the U.S. are offering Fulbright Grants for Italian students.  Fulbright awards fund citizens to study, research, or lecture at an accredited U.S. institution for a period between three months and one year. Grants will range from $2,000 to $30,000. Selection will be based on merit and financial aid. Last date to apply is 1 December.

UniCredit & Universities Crivelli Scholarship for Italian Students
 UniCredit & Universities Knight of Labor Ugo Foscolo Foundation has invited applications for students to pursue PhD program. There is only one scholarship for Italian students. The scholarship amounts to €25,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year and is renewable for the second year. All tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship will be also reimbursed by the Foundation. Students must apply by 15 November.

EYSAC Research Fellowship in Surgical Oncology
European Society of Surgical Oncology is offering EYSAC Research Fellowship. Fellowship for Italian students is awarded in the field of surgical oncology. EYSAC offers one research fellowship. Fellowship is awarded every year for a training period of 1 to 3 months. Candidates must be a specialist, trainee or junior doctor with a declared intention of specializing in a sub-specialty of surgical oncology. The value of this research fellowship is 2.000 EUR. Last date to apply is 10th November.

The Malcolm Grant Scholarship for Italian Students
University College London is inviting applications for undergraduate students in UK. One award is available commencing in the 2014/15 academic session. The successful recipient will be awarded £25,000 for the duration of their programme at UCL. The criterion for awarding the scholarship is financial need and leadership potential only. The application deadline is 25th July.

Transatlantic Postdoctoral Fellowship
Applications are invited for pursuing postdoctoral research programme. Up to five fellowships will be awarded for the duration of 24 months. The fellowship consists of a monthly stipend of Euro 1.800,00, allowance for health insurance of Euro 200, 00 and a one-time travel allowance of Euro 3.500,00 for travel to and from the host institutions. Applications should be submitted till February 3.

PhD Studentships for Italian Students
Studentships are available for pursuing PhD degree level at University of Sussex. Each studentship includes a tax free maintenance bursary of £13726 per year, plus a waiver of UK/EU fees for 3.5 years. These are full-time studentships and the successful candidates will be able to devote their whole time to research. The application deadline is 1 February.

CUOA Foundation Business School Scholarships
Scholarships for Italian students are available for pursuing master degree level. Scholarships and fee reductions will be awarded during the selection process and no later than the date of the International MBA Program’s beginning. The application deadline is 31st January.
