Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme in India, 2017-2018
Applications are invited for prime minister’s scholarship scheme from Indian candidates who have joined the professional courses in the academic year 2015-2016. These scholarships are available for dependent wards/widows of Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Indian coast guard. A total number of 4000 students will be selected. The application deadline is 30 November.

PEEF Scholarships for Masters Students in Pakistan, 2017-2018
University of Tsukuba offers a range of different scholarship programmes for international students to help cover tuition fees or living costs to study in Japan. Students from developing countries are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be applying for 18-month master’s program in the field of Economic Policy or Public Policy at the University of Tsukuba.

CIMO Fellowships Programme for International Doctoral Students
Applications are invited for CIMO fellowship programme available for students and researchers from all countries and from all academic fields to pursue doctoral studies at a Finnish university. Visiting Doctoral-level students and researchers who are doing their Doctorate degree at some foreign university can also be considered eligible, provided that the motivation letter of the hosting Finnish university department presents exceptionally good grounds for such an application. The grant is 1,500 euro/month. The grant is personal and is intended to cover for the subsistence costs of the scholarship holder in Finland.

Israeli Government Scholarships for Foreign Students, 2016
Applications are invited for Israeli Government Scholarships available for foreign students in Israel. First priority will be given to candidates applying for a post-doctorate program and to research students and second priority will be given to PhD Students and to MA students. The applicant must hold a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement. The application should be submitted till November 30 each year.

Mexican Government Excellence Scholarship Program
Mexican Government is offering an excellence scholarship program for foreign students. The scholarships are not transferable and cannot be deferred to future years. Two people cannot be awarded a scholarship for the same project. All scholarship applications must be submitted to the Mexican or concurrent embassy of the applicant’s country or to the Mexican host institute.

Macedonian Government Scholarships for International Students
Macedonian Government Scholarships for international students are available for pursuing undergraduate degree at the University of Information Science and Technology. The scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 22 years old. 36 scholarships will be awarded to the students. The contract will stipulate that the scholarship provides funds for the first academic year and subsequently for the rest of the three years of the undergraduate studies.

Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students
Applications are invited for Jiangxi Provincial Government scholarship accessible to international students. Scholarship is divided into three categories: Type A Scholarship, 25000 RMB for each person per year, studying for doctoral and master degrees; Type B Scholarship, 20000 RMB for each student per year, for bachelor’s degree and Type C Scholarship, 6000 RMB, used to fund visiting scholars or other foreign students who will study in the university for at least half a year.

Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists in Switzerland, 2014/15
Swiss Government, through the Federal Commission offers excellence scholarships for foreign scholars and artists in Switzerland. The scholarships are available for pursuing PhD, postdoctoral and research programs at one of the public-funded universities or recognized institution. The applicant must not be more than 35 years old at the moment of the application. The Scholarship is only valid for a full-time Postdoctoral Research or Research in Switzerland. It is not valid for mixed Postdoctoral Research or mixed Research (part-time in Switzerland and part-time in a third country).

New Zealand Development Government Scholarships for International Students
New Zealand Development Scholarships are well-known scholarships which are awarded each year by New Zealand Government. The scholarships provide financial support for tuition, living costs while in New Zealand and airfares for the duration of the study programme. Up to 64 scholarships are available. Government scholarships for international students will be offered for the whole duration of the programme. Applicants must ensure that the institution receives the completed NZDS application form before the institution’s closing date which varies between 30th April and 1 June.

Ministry of Education Short Term Research Award 
Awards are available to undertake short term research in the Republic of China (Taiwan). There will be approximately 20 to 40 STRA Awards available per annum, depending on the annual budget, for the current fiscal year. The short term STRA research period will generally from 2 to 6 months. Applicants shall have their application packet arrived at the university or MOE affiliate institute no later than September 30th for the following year’s research project.

Aichi Scholarship Program for Asian Students
The Aichi Prefectural Government is offering ten scholarships to graduate-level students from Asian countries who are nominated by the universities in Aichi. Applicants must be under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2014, i.e. born on or after April 2, 1979. Scholarships will be awarded for a period of 6 months (as a research student) and 2 years (as a master’s course student). Applicants must apply through graduate schools located in Aichi between March-May 2014. Application forms must be handed into the Aichi Prefectural Government by May 16, 2014.

Japanese Government Scholarships for International Students
Applications are open for MEXT Research Scholarships available to international students for the academic year 2015. The term of scholarship will differ depending on the types of students as accepted in Japanese universities. Each grantee will be provided monthly with 143,000 yen (Research Students (non-regular students), 144,000yen (regular students in Master’s courses or professional graduate courses), or 145,000yen (regular students in doctoral courses). The deadline for applications varies according to the countries.

Heilongjiang Government Scholarship for International Students
Government scholarships for international students are available to pursue undergraduate, master and PhD program at host institutions in Heilongjiang province. The scholarship is divided into the following three categories: Class A Scholarship for Doctoral Degree Student’s (24,000 per year for 2 to 3 academic years), Class B Scholarship for Master’s Degree Student’s (19,000 per year for 2 to 3 academic year) and Class C Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree Student’s (13,000 per year for 4 academic years). Closing date of applications is April 30, each year.

Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Award for International Students
Australian Government invites applications for Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Award available for international students. The award provides financial support for up to 2.5 years. The award also provides support for English Language Training worth of $10,000 up to 6 months, if required.

Tianjin Government Scholarship (TGS) for International Students
Tianjin Government is offering scholarship for international students to undertake undergraduate, masters’ and doctoral program in Tianjin. Applicants must be foreign self-funded undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD student who has normally enrolled in Tianjin. The Higher Education Institutions must submit scholarship list and application documents to Tianjin Municipal Education Commission by June 15.

Sichuan Provincial Government Scholarship for Foreign Students
Sichuan Provincial Government is offering scholarship for foreign students. The students will get the scholarship every year until they finish their study on the premise that they are approved by the institutions every year. The application form is accepted every year and it is from January to June.

Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 
Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship is a well-known fellowship program for international students to study in the USA. The Humphrey Program is a non-degree program. The ten months fellowship is provided to cover many expenses. Applicants must have limited or no prior experience in the United States. Application deadlines vary by country.

Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students
Government scholarship for international students is available for undergraduate and language program at Qingdao University in China. Applicants shall have got good marks and not been awarded with other scholarships. Applicants shall be foreigners who are sound and age from 18 to 40. Government scholarship will include full tuition Fee, Accommodation Fee, Fee of Comprehensive Insurance for international students in China. The application deadline for submitting student’s application documents to the recommending institute is May 30, 2014. The application deadline for submitting documents to International Students’ Office is June 13, 2014.

Chinese Government – Great Wall Scholarships 2020
Ministry of Education of P.R. China (MOE) is awarding Great Wall program for international students in 2017-2018 academic session. This program only supports general scholars and senior scholars.The Great Wall Program provides a fully-funded position which covers tuition waiver, accommodation, stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance. MOFCOM Government Scholarships for International Students
The Government of the People’s Republic of China through the Government of Fiji is offering master and PhD degree scholarships for developing countries’ students. Scholarships will be awarded for a period of one year. Scholarship includes a Tuition waiver, Teaching material fee waiver, Research and survey fee waiver, Dissertation guidance fee waiver, One-off resettlement fee: 3000RMB per master student, 3000RMB per PhD student, on-campus accommodation; stipend: 3000RMB per month per master student, 3500RMB per month per PhD student, medical insurance one-time round-trip international airfare for all the students.
