Bridging Scholarships for Study Abroad in Japan, 2017
Scholarship Provider: The Bridging Scholarship program is sponsored and funded by the US-Japan Bridging Foundation, through contributions from a number of corporations, private foundations, and individual donors.
Eligible Students: Undergraduate students majoring in any field of study are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Japanese language study is not a prerequisite. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be enrolled as undergraduates in a college or university in the United States before and during the time they are studying abroad. Their study in Japan must earn credit that will transfer to their home campus in the US.

CBS Innovation International Scholarship for Undergraduates in Australia, 2017

Award Details: The CBS Innovation International Scholarship will provide the following support for the expected duration of the undergraduate degree for up to a maximum of three years (based on a full-time study load of at least 100 credits per semester): A total value of up to $9,000 paid as a cash stipend of $1,500 per semester. Eligible Students: To be eligible for the scholarship Application for the scholarship is open for prospective IBA students (thus, not currently enrolled students) starting their studies in 2016/2017 from all non-EEA countries, provided they would be charged the non-EEA tuition fee. Only students who are not recipients of any other scholarships exceeding the amount of 5,000 euro in total in that same academic year can apply for the scholarship.

Award Details:  The amount of the scholarship for the academic year 2016-2017 is approximately 6,500 euro. The scholarship will be provided in the form of a waiver from the non-EEA tuition fee. The waiver fully covers the difference between the non-EEA tuition fee and the EEA tuition fee. You will always have to pay at least the statutory tuition fee. For the scholarship, no actual transmission of money takes place. The scholarship part of the non-EEA tuition fee will be subtracted from the full non-EEA tuition fee before the start of the academic year, enabling you to immediately pay the reduced tuition fee; either at once or in installments.

Eligible Students: To be eligible for the scholarship the Students with domicile of NER who have passed Class XII or equivalent exam from a school situated within NER through any recognized Board of Education, including Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), National institute of open Schooling (NIOS) within NER only, and have secured admission in general degree course, technical and professional courses including medical and para-medical courses (Integrated courses included) in Universities/Colleges/ Institutions recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, within and outside the States of NER.
Course: Scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate degree programme.
Award Details: An amount of Rs.3500/- p.m. for General Degree courses and Rs. 5000/- p.m. for Technical & Professional courses (including Medical & Para medical courses) will be given through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the beneficiary student.
