Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships for Developing Countries
The Leakey Foundation is inviting applications for Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. It is limited to two years of support. The maximum award is limited to $15,000 per year. The application deadline is February 15.

IFS Individual Research Grants for Citizens of Developing Countries
Applications are invited from early-career scientists in IFS eligible developing countries to apply for IFS Individual Research Grants.  These grants are open to carry out research projects for a period of up to 3 years. An applicant must have at least an MSc/MA and must do the research project in an IFS eligible country. Grants are awarded on merit basis which amounts up to USD 12,000. The deadline for submission of research grant applications is 31st December.

2016 FIG Foundation PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries, Denmark
FIG Foundation is offering PhD scholarships for applicants from low-income, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy. The FIG Foundation will be providing scholarships of up to 4,000 euros to PhD students. Applicant must be studying for a PhD degree and registered solely in a surveying/geomatics academic programme that teaches surveying are eligible to apply. The application deadline is 1 March.

Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship for Women from Developing Countries in USA, 2016-2017
International Peace Research Association Foundation is awarding up to two Senesh fellowship for women from developing countries. Fellowships are available for applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree, who have been accepted into a graduate program and whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of IPRA. The Fellowships provide $5,000 per year for two years for both women, for a total of $10,000 each. Applications are due by January 15.

JNCASR-CICS Fellowship Programme for Developing Countries in India, 2016
Applications are invited for JNCASR-CICS Fellowship Programme to encourage mobility of scientists from developing countries. The Fellowship provides an opportunity for young scientists, teachers and researchers from the developing countries (other than India) to undertake research studies in India. The applications deadline is 31st October every year.

TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 
TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is available for young scientists from developing countries. BIOTEC will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applicants must apply for the fellowship within five years of having obtained a PhD degree. The application deadline is 15 September.

Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students in Developing Countries
Scholarships for international students in developing countries are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at public Universities. Scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 28 years. 15 undergraduate scholarships will be awarded. Applicants must be currently enrolled in the final 4th year of secondary education or who possess a 4-year secondary education degree. The deadline for applications is August 1.

TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developing Countries
Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellowship awarded to young scientists who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in physical sciences. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences. The deadline for applications is 15 September.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. The Trust does not provide Master’s schemes for UK/RoI-based researchers. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. Applications will close on 15 August.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Fellowships for international students in developing countries are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Fellowships for international students cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must prove knowledge of Spanish or provide a certificate of proficiency in English. The application deadline is 15 September 2014.

Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students in Developing Countries 
Applications are invited for scholarships available for international students in developing country at Kadir Has University. Scholarships are available for any bachelor program for all qualified international undergraduate applicants. The scholarships cover 50% tuition waiver. Application must be submitted by August 29, 2014.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for developing countries’ students are available for pursuing postdoctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of the natural sciences. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

UNESCO/People’s Republic of China Co-Sponsored International Fellowships Programme
International fellowships are available for pursuing advanced studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level at Chinese universities. These international fellowships are of one year duration. The Chinese authorities will select the twenty-five (25) most qualified candidates. The application deadline is 6 June 2014 for the academic year 2014-2015.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for International Students
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness. Applicants must provide a certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

Mexican Government Excellence Scholarship Program
Scholarships for international students in developing countries are available for special programs at Mexican host institutes. The Academic Exchange Office will arrange for and purchase the international airfare. The scholarships are not transferable and cannot be deferred to future years. Two people cannot be awarded a scholarship for the same project. Applications must be submitted by August 29, 2014.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for International Students
International fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August 2014.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships for International Students in Developing Countries
Applications are invited for developing solutions masters scholarships for 2014/15 intakes. 15 fully funded scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus. The application deadlines are 15 July 2014 for September intake and 15 October 2014 for December 2014 intake.

TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for international students are available for undertaking postdoctoral programme at Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology. TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at IROST. Last date of submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

Macedonian Government Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students in Developing Countries
Applications are invited for Macedonian government scholarships for international students in developing countries available to pursue undergraduate studies for the academic 2014/2015 at the University of Information Science and Technology. The contract will stipulate that the scholarship provides funds for the first academic year. The application deadline is August 1, 2014.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
Fellowships are obtainable for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications will close on 15th September 2014.

TÜBITAK Graduate Scholarship Programme
Applications are invited for TÜBITAK graduate scholarship available for the citizens of least developed countries. Applicants who are currently enrolled in a PhD program in Turkey are also eligible to apply on the condition that they have not yet completed their six semester in the program. Maximum duration for the scholarship is 2 years for the Masters and 4 years for the PhD program. Applications will be accepted from 4 August 2014 to 12 September 2014.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for international students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. Closing date for submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.

China Three Gorges University Scholarship for International Students in Developing Countries 
Scholarships for international students in developing countries are available for pursuing undergraduate degree at China Three Gorges University. This scholarship will cover all or parts of the tuition fees of these CTGU’s new English-medium programs to international students. CTGU accepts application from every February to June.

TWAS-SN Bose International Fellowship
International fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry. Applications must be submitted by 31 August 2014.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme accessible for developing counties’ students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.
