SOAS, University of London is offering postgraduate scholarships for 2015/16 entry. Scholarships for Vietnamese are awarded to pursue postgraduate certificates and diplomas, MA programmes and full-time MPhil/PhD programme focuses on Southeast Asian art. The Scholarships will cover tuition fees in full, and a generous maintenance allowance towards the costs of living and studying in central London, as well as flights to and from the UK at the start and end of the course. Visa costs will also be covered. Asia Foundation Development Fellows Program in Asia and USA, 2015
The Asia Foundation is awarding development fellowships for young professionals from Vietnam to strengthen their leadership skills and gain in-depth knowledge of Asia’s critical development challenges. It is a year long fellowship program involving intensive learning modules – short courses, conferences and study tours in Asia and the USA. It is not a full-time fellowship. Fellows will typically remain in their occupations throughout the fellowship year while participating in the programs modules. Students must submit their application on or before November 12, 2014.
Canadian Government Doctoral Research Scholarships
Each year, the government of Canada offers doctoral research scholarships for international students. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing doctoral studies at Québec University in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering fields. The maximum annual value of the scholarship is $20 000. The scholarship holder may also receive up to nine payments totaling $60 000 during the nine sessions or 36 months. Only students who have been pre selected by a Québec university may apply for these scholarships. Applicants must consult the deadlines of the universities for pre selection. The deadline for submitting complete files directly to the FRQNT is November 1st, 2014.

Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation is offering Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) for developing country applicants. NFP will be awarded for master degree programmes, PhD and short courses. Students must be a national of one of the countries in the NFP country list valid at the time of application.
Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships
The Government of Canada offers Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships for Canadian and international students studying at Canadian universities. Up to 167 scholarships are awarded annually for a period of three years. Students must be nominated by only one Canadian university, which must have received a Vanier CGS allocation. Candidates cannot apply directly to the Vanier CGS program. Each Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship is valued at $50,000 per year. Sri Lankan Government Presidential Scholarships
Applications are invited for up to 100 Sri Lankan Government Scholarships available for foreign students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degree commencing in December 2014 in Sri Lanka. Scholarships are open for courses of studies other than Medical & Dental Sciences. Every student is required to undergo an HIV/AIDS test within a month after arrival. Wellcome Trust is offering awards for research applicants for 2014 intake. The scholarships will provide up to £30,000 for three years. Applicants must be or collaborating with a researcher, research group or institution to provide expertise in the area of biomedical science you are exploring. Applications should be submitted till 18th April 2014.
CAS-TWAS President’s Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for PhD study and research at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or Institutes of CAS around China. Applicants must be maximum age of 35 years on 31 December 2014. They must hold a master degree before the beginning of the fall semester: September, 2014. Application deadline is 28th February 2014.
Intermediate Fellowships for Developing Countries
Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Fellows must be based primarily in a low- and middle-income country. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years and provide a basic salary which will be based on the pay scales of the employing institution or allowances. Preliminary application deadline is 25 April 2014 and full application deadline is 4 July 2014.
INSEAD MBA ’91 June Endowed Scholarship for Vietnamese Students
This scholarship for Vietnamese students is for pursuing Masters-MBA degree level. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need. The scholarship will cover €10,000. The application deadlines are 31 January 2014 and 28 April 2014.
ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship for Vietnamese Students
This scholarship for Vietnamese students is available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at National University of Singapore (NUS). The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides an annual living allowance of S$5,800. The scholarship is tenable for the minimum period of candidature for the respective undergraduate courses at NUS. Application deadline is 21st February 2014.
Daewoo Scholarship for Vietnamese Students
Scholarship for Vietnamese students is available for graduate students (Master’s or doctoral) to pursue advanced degrees at George Washington University. Scholarship of up to $10,000 (fees excluded) for the period of one academic year will be awarded. The application deadline is 7 March 2014.
International Students House Residential Scholarships for Vietnamese Students
Scholarships for Vietnamese students are awarded for accommodation during the applicant’s study period in London. Preference will be given to postgraduate students who are studying a course that will provide skills to assist in the development of their home country. Scholarships provide free accommodation at ISH for up to a year and in exceptional circumstances up to three years. Applications should be submitted till May 31st 2014.
Netherlands Fellowship Programmes
NFP is offering fellowships for master’s, PhD and short courses. Applicants can apply for Master’s degree programmes and short courses in the application period of December 2013- February 2014. The fellowship is only intended for the duration of the course or programme. Applications will close on 4th February 2014.
International Heritage Scholarship for Vietnamese Students
The scholarship for Vietnamese students is available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate Coursework degree level at Curtin University in Australia. This scholarship provides eligible students 25% of their first year tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD$10,000. Application should be submitted till July 18, 2014.
Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) for Developing Countries
The Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) is awarded for postdoctoral researchers to conduct a self-selected, long-term research project (6-24 months) at a research institution in Germany. Applicants must have completed PhD or comparable academic degree for no more than four years the date of application. Applications may be submitted any time from 1.7.2013 until mid-2015.
