Now, many colleges and universities are involved in providing such type of financial aid in the form of Scholarship, Grants and Awards. Scholarship Program: The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)

Brief Scholarship Description: The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Brief Scholarship Description: University of Leeds graduates are entitled to a 10% bursary towards fees. University of Leeds graduates with a first classification are entitled to a 20% bursary towards fees.A 10% bursary is also available to exchange students or those who have studied a Junior Year Abroad at the University of Leeds. Scholarship Program: Lê Hoàng Nguyên (LHN) College Scholarships for Vietnamese

Level of study: These scholarships are available for high school seniors level.
Brief Scholarship Description: The Lê Hoàng Nguyên (LHN) Scholarship is intended to provide scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors attending college in the upcoming fall semester. Awards are based on academic merit, personal integrity, leadership aptitude, and future career goals. One award will be given each year in the amount of $500 and will be presented to the recipient’s university, in the recipient’s name upon, verification of enrollment. Mr. Lê Hoàng Nguyên, known philanthropist and businessman, is a long-time Houstonian and a 1993 graduate of Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M University, Mr. Lê learned many valuable life lessons including the importance of hard work, integrity, camaraderie and loyalty. Wanting to encourage others to share in the experiences and valuable lessons of a college education, he founded the Lê Hoàng Nguyên Scholarship Foundation with the intention of annually awarding the LHN Scholarship to future leaders.

Brief Scholarship Description: The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam is pleased to announce the Fulbright Vietnamese Student Scholarship Program for the academic year 2013-2014. Established in 1946 and funded by the U.S. Congress, the Fulbright Program aims at achieving mutual understanding through academic and cultural exchange. The Fulbright Vietnamese Student Program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program which recruits and nominates young Vietnamese professionals for Master’s degree programs at U.S. universities. Approximately 20 to 25 fully-funded scholarships are granted on an annual basis. Since 1992, about 500 Vietnamese students have been selected to participate in the Program.

Scholarship Program: Schwallie Family Scholarships for Vietnamese
Employer: Organization for Autism Research (OAR), USA
Level of study:These scholarships are available for undergraduate degree level.
Brief Scholarship Description: In 2008, the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) introduced the Schwallie Family Scholarship Program to support qualified individuals with autism or Asperger Syndrome residing in the United States pursuing post-secondary education. OAR will present awards of $3,000 each across three categories: 1) Four-year undergraduate college or university; 2) Two-year undergraduate college, and; 3) Trade, technical or vocational school. These will be one-time awards for any recipient.As of July 1, 2011, 55 students from across the U.S. have received $178,500 in scholarship funds. Supported initially through gifts from the family of OAR Board member, Ed Schwallie, the scholarship fund has also received generous support from the Lisa Higgins Hussman Foundation in each of the last three years.

Scholarship Program: New Scholarships for Vietnamese Students
Employer: Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH), USA
Level of study:These scholarships are available for master’s programme.
Brief Scholarship Description: Professor Anders Hult, Director of International Affairs at KTH with responsibility for Southeast Asia, says the new scholarships are intended to close the gap between existing financial aid from Vietnam’s Education Ministry and the full cost of completing a master’s degree at KTH. “In addition to these partial tuition waiver grants of up to 45,000 Swedish kronor [$6,700], we’ll be able to offer paid employment on campus, for example in labs or as teaching assistants. Together with the $20,000 grants available from the Education Ministry, students should be able to live and study in Stockholm without taking loans or relying on their families,” Professor Hult explains.Prospective KTH students currently studying in Vietnam are encouraged to apply locally for the grants, either through the financial aid offices at their home universities or through Vietnam International Education Development (VIED).

Brief Scholarship Description: Within the framework of its cooperation programme with Vietnam, the government of Belgium wishes to support the government of Vietnam in its efforts to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development. The Belgian Bilateral Scholarships (BBS) constitute an important component of this cooperation programme, which aims to contribute to the long-term growth and stability of Vietnam.Belgian Bilateral Scholarships, granted through the Directorate General for Development Cooperation (DGD) under the Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, enable young professionals from Vietnam to pursue Master studies in Belgium and gain new expertise for the benefit of their country. Scholarship Program: SPEA Overseas Education Scholarships for Vietnamese
Employer: SPEA
Level of study: These scholarships are available for graduate or undergraduate degree level.
Brief Scholarship Description: SPEA Overseas Education Scholarships may only be applied to SPEA-sanctioned programs, i.e. SPEA Abroad Summer Programs or SPEA Abroad Semester/Academic Year Programs.  Students must be admitted to a SPEA graduate or undergraduate degree program at IUB or IUPUI.  Students admitted for a fall semester will be eligible for scholarship support in the prior summer (for example, a student admitted for Fall 2012 will be eligible for the scholarship for a Summer 2012 SPEA Abroad program).
