Joan Berry Postgraduate Fellowships in Veterinary Science at Massey University in New Zealand, 2019

The Massey University is offering Joan Berry Fellowships in Veterinary Science-Postgraduate in January 2019. The Fellowships shall be open to veterinary science students with a particular interest in promoting animal health and welfare.

Dell EMC Graduation Project Competition for Senior Undergraduate Students from MENA Regions, 2019

About the Competition

“Envision The Future” is Dell EMC’s annual graduation project competition for senior undergraduate students from universities in Turkey, Middle East and Africa. The competition is intended to spark the creativity of students for their graduation projects to play an active role in the Transformation of IT and get the opportunity to shine and win prizes.

Eligibility and participation criteria

The deadline for submitting Project Abstracts is 15th December 2018 and the winner’s final announcement will be on 4th September 2017. Students who wish to participate should be in their senior year and should be enrolled in any of the Dell EMC External Research and Academic Alliance in the Turkey, Middle East and Africa region.

Students should have a faculty member as their official academic advisor and mentor.

Students should have a strong academic standing, validated by the Head of their Department.

The correctness of the information provided by the students should be validated by the official signature and stamp of the Dean of their college/institute.

No students should be listed in more than one project.

At the time of submission, all the members of student teams should not be full time employees of any organization whatsoever, whether it is private, public, or non-governmental.

Determination of Winners:

All the documents submitted to the competition are blindly reviewed and evaluated by international professors and experts who reside outside the region. Each document is reviewed by at least two different evaluators.

Prizes

Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes as below:

  •  First place will receive a cash prize of $5,000
  •  Second place will receive a cash prize of $4,000
  •  Third place winner will receive a cash prize of $3,000

All the team will get recognition certificates for their achievement.

A formal award ceremony will be organized at one of the major Dell EMC events in the region. All the members of the winning team and their academic advisor(s) will be invited to attend the ceremony along with senior officials from their university/college.

NSW Surveyor General International Fellowship Australia, 2019

The Government of New South Wales has established a Surveyor General International Fellowship for Graduate students. The fellowship is available to Australia and International students.

Government of South Australia Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Scholarships in Australia, 2019

The Government of South Australia is delighted to announce Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Scholarships. This is an intensive five-week, live-in summer school program open to Australian and international participants from all disciplines.

The State Government, through the South Australian Space Industry Centre (SASIC), will provide a total of five scholarships for South Australians to participate in the intensive five-week, live-in summer school program and gain valuable skills to forge a career in the high-tech space industry.

Already home to around 70 space-related organisations, South Australia is committed to further growing the local industry and build on the state’s history of space activity. The SASIC will support space entrepreneurs, create an incubator for space projects and an environment where new space technologies can be rapidly developed. The SASIC will build on the work done by the previous Space Industry Office at Defence SA, which developed the first space strategy of any jurisdiction in Australia.

• A Scholarship may only be granted for the duration of a program, as set out in its curriculum, i.e. a maximum of three (3) years for a Bachelor’s program and one (1) or two (2) years for a Master program.
• Scholarships are granted for the first year of studies and thereafter, upon grated prolongation, for the following years covered by the program.
• Where a student does not fulfil these requirements, the scholarship will be withdrawn and the student may be required to repay any funds paid out.

2019 Robert T Jones Memorial Trust Graduate Scholarship at Emory University in Atlanta, USA

The new Robert T Jones Memorial Trust programme support students for one year of study at Emory University in Atlanta. The fellowship is available to all nationalities, except United States citizens.

St Andrews is a unique place to study and live. Fellows will be treated as graduate students and are required to earn a degree. Robert T Jones Fellows will be able to pursue a graduate degree through one of the following Masters:

Scholarship Award: Robert T Jones Memorial Trust Scholarships

The Scholarships are sufficient to cover all basic costs for the year at Emory. In particular, tuition and other fees are paid for, as are room and board in a university residence. Mandatory health insurance is arranged by Emory University and the Trust provides all scholars with dental insurance. In addition, each Scholar receives a personal stipend to cover basic expenditure and book and sundries. Return air tickets from the UK to Atlanta are provided.

The Scholars are also encouraged to travel in the United States. Each receives a special travel stipend. The scholars also have the use of a car and driver orientation will be provided.

Robert T Jones Memorial Trust Graduate Fellowship

The Graduate Fellowship will provide a yearly return airfare from a UK airport to Atlanta, payment of your course fee, housing for the duration of your study, health insurance and a yearly living stipend.
