Centre of African Studies Visiting Research Fellowship 2017
The Centre of African Studies at the University of Cambridge is offering two visiting research fellowships for the year 2016-2017.  These fellowships awarded in all the disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. Each award is worth up to £14,000, out of which travel, college accommodation, maintenance costs and medical insurance will be paid by the Centre on behalf of the fellow. The maximum duration of a fellowship is six months and is non-renewable. The application deadline is January 15, 2017.

MSFS Ivory Coast Scholarship
Georgetown University is offering Ivory Coast scholarship for Sub-Saharan African students. The scholarship will cover full-tuition for two years. Professional work experience, ideally in a field related to their future professional goals is required. Students have an average of four years of work experience prior to joining MSFS. Application should be submitted till January 15, 2017.

Dorothy Marchus Senesh Fellowship
International Peace Research Association Foundation is awarding up to two Senesh fellowship for women from developing countries. Fellowships are available for applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree, who have been accepted into a graduate program and whose graduate work is to be focused on issues related to the goals of IPRA. The Fellowships provide $5,000 per year for two years for both women, for a total of $10,000 each. Applications are due by January 15.

Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) invites applications for Ivory Coast scholarships available to study at a Japanese college of technology. A graduated grantee will be awarded a diploma and an associate degree. Scholarship awards will be tenable for four years from April, 2016 to March, 2020 including one-year preparatory education in the Japanese language and other subjects due to be provided upon arrival in Japan.

Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships
The Leakey Foundation is inviting applications for Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for scholars and students of a developing country who wish to obtain an advanced degree from an institution outside the student’s home country. It is limited to two years of support. The maximum award is limited to $15,000 per year. The application deadline is February 15.

MIT-Zaragoza African Supply Chain Professional Scholarships 2017
Zaragoza Logistics Center is offering scholarships for African students for the academic year 2016-2017. Scholarships are awarded each year for students of the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program. Scholarships consist of reduction in tuition fees, which currently amount to €24,000. The deadline for application is April 15, 2017.

David E I Pyott Master of Surgery
David E I Pyott Foundation is offering six online distance learning master’s scholarships for the academic year 2016-2017. These scholarships are available for the students of sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, and South America. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on to the online distance learning master of surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. Each scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire part-time programme of study as well as provide access to a broadband facility and a laptop. The application deadline is 28th July 2017.

IFS Individual Research Grants
Applications are invited from early-career scientists in IFS eligible developing countries to apply for IFS Individual Research Grants.  These grants are open to carry out research projects for a period of up to 3 years. An applicant must have at least an MSc/MA and must do the research project in an IFS eligible country. Grants are awarded on merit basis which amounts up to USD 12,000. The deadline for submission of research grant applications is 31st December 2015.

IGA WGC2015 Short Course Fellowships
The International Geothermal Association with support from the World Bank via the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program awards fellowships for developing countries’ citizens to attend the WGC2015 course. The course will take place in Melbourne, Australia from 17-19 April , just prior to the WGC2015. Up to 25 fellowships are available for support up to 2,000 USD each. Targeted participants include mid to upper level management personnel and drilling supervisors. The application deadline is 31st January.

ISA Call Applications for COMRA Fellowship and Engineering Training Programme, 2015
The International Seabed Authority invites applications for training fellowship to provide on-land training opportunities in 2015 for four trainees from developing States. COMRA will pay for a round-trip airline tickets (economy class) for the trainees. Local ground transportation, accommodations, travel insurance and allowance will be also provided by COMRA. Two trainees will receive training in a five-month fellowship programme between March and July 2015 and another two trainees for a six-week engineering training programme between March and April 2015. Both programmes will be undertaken in cooperation with both Second Institute of Oceanography in Hangzhou, China and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. The application deadline is 20 January.

Japan Foundation for UNU PhD Scholarships
Applications are invited for UNU scholarships available for applicants from developing countries to undertake PhD program in Sustainability Science. A limited number of PhD scholarships (covering tuition fees and living costs) for a maximum of 36 months are awarded for outstanding applicants who can demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Applicants must have completed Master’s degree in disciplines related to sustainability studies and have a minimum of 2 years of practical field experience related to UNU-IAS research themes. The application deadline is 30 April.

LJMU Developing Global Citizens Postgraduate Scholarships
Liverpool John Moores University is awarding for developing global citizen scholarships for students of Africa, the ASEAN countries, the People’s Republic of China or Commonwealth countries. Scholarships are awarded to students accepted on to a taught masters program or research degree program in September. The scholarships will consist of one-off £6,000 fee waiver. The application deadline is 2 June.

ISN Fellowship Program for Ivory Coast Students
Fellowship program provides relevant and contemporary nephrology training to physicians. The program offers two types of Fellowships: Long term awards (7–12 months) and Short term awards (2–6 months). ISN Fellowship grants are awarded on the condition that Fellows return to their respective home countries within three months after completion of the training. There are two applications rounds every year. Students can either submit their application before December 15 or June 15.

ICO-Retina Research Foundation Helmerich Fellowships
The International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) is offering two fellowships for Ivory Coast students. The fellowships worth of US$25,000 are offered to cover round trip travel, living expenses and professional expenses. The fellowship may be commenced anytime within 15 months after award notification. The application deadline is September 30 of each year.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.

DAAD Master Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance
DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) is funding master scholarships in Public Policy and Good Governance at German institution in Germany. A monthly scholarship rate of currently 750 € will be awarded. Scholarships also provide health insurance, travel allowance as well as a study and research subsidy and in applicable cases accommodation subsidies and/or family allowances. The next application deadline is 31st July 2014.

Rhodes University Prestigious Postgraduate Ivory Coast Scholarships
Ivory Coast scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate degree program (Honors, Masters and Doctoral) at Rhodes University. These scholarships will be initially for one year but renewable depending on satisfactory progress for a further year at Master’s level, two at Doctoral level. The values of these postgraduate scholarships are as follows: Honors-R45 000, Master’s-R60 000 & Doctoral-R80 000 (except Atlantic Philanthropies scholarship which is worth of R100 000). The application deadline is 1st July 2014.

TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is available for young scientists from Ivory Coast. BIOTEC will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applicants must apply for the fellowship within five years of having obtained a PhD degree. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

Westminster Ivory Coast Scholarships
University of Westminster offers Ivory Coast scholarships for students from developing countries to pursue master program. These fully funded scholarships will include full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence, financial need and development potential. Preference will be given to junior faculty members of partner Universities in Vietnam. Application should be submitted till 17th October 2014.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for Ivory Coast Students
Ivory Coast fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August 2014.

MMMF Grant for Women of Developing Countries
Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund is offering grant for women of developing countries in South Africa. Applicant must be women and enrolled at the University of Pretoria, the University of Cape Town, the University of Stellenbosch or the University of Witwatersrand. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2014.

TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Fellowships for Ivory Coast students are available for undertaking postdoctoral programme at Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology. TWAS-IROST Postdoctoral Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at IROST. Last date of submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

International Space University MSc Ivory Coast Scholarships
International Space University is funding scholarships for Ivory Coast students for pursuing masters’ degree. Scholarships are granted on the basis of academic and professional merit, financial need and demonstrated financial need. This aid is available to selected applicants and covers a portion of their fees. The deadline for applications is 30th June, 2014.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for Ivory Coast Students
Ivory Coast fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness. Applicants must provide a certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

RSM MBA Ivory Coast Scholarships
Ivory Coast scholarships are available for pursuing master degree programme at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Each scholarship amounts of 10,000 Euros will be waived from the MBA tuition fee. Scholarships are open to high potential candidates. Candidates must submit their MBA application by 14th October 2014 for January 2015 intake.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
Ivory Coast fellowships are obtainable for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications will close on 15th September 2014.

UNESCO/POLAND Co-Sponsored Fellowships
Applications are invited for UNESCO/POLAND Co-Sponsored Research Fellowships. Up to forty (40) fellowships will be awarded for a period of six (6) months duration starting on 1st October 2014. Applicants must be in good health, both physically and mentally. Beneficiaries of these fellowships will be given the opportunity to undertake an individual research programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering. The application deadline is 21st July 2014.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) are inviting applications for TWAS-UPM postdoctoral fellowship programme. UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Ivory Coast fellowships cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must prove knowledge of Spanish or provide a certificate of proficiency in English. The application deadline is 15th September 2014.

ICTP Master Ivory Coast Scholarships
Applications are invited for master Ivory Coast scholarships in Medical Physics. A limited number of partial or full scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates having degree equivalent to an M.Sc. in physics or related fields. These masters’ scholarships are offered for two years master program starting from 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2016. Online application deadline is August 31, 2014.

TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Ivory Coast Fellowship
Applications are invited for Ivory Coast fellowship awarded to young scientists who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in physical sciences. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences. The deadline for applications is 15th September 2014.

Developing Solutions Masters Ivory Coast Scholarships
Ivory Coast scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Nottingham in Malaysia. Around 15 awards of 100% tuition fee scholarships are offered. Scholarships are available for students from the developing and third world countries registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus in areas related to science, technology and education. The application deadlines are 15 July 2014 for September intake and 15 October 2014 for December 2014 intake.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Ivory Coast students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Around three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. Closing date for submitting applications is 15th September 2014.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Fellowships for Ivory Coast students are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. The deadline for applications is 31st August 2014.

MBA Ivory Coast Scholarships at University of Glasgow
Ivory Coast scholarships are obtainable for undertaking master degree at University of Glasgow in UK. A total of 5 scholarships are available. The value of each scholarship is £5,000. The criteria for the scholarships are academic excellence and personal achievement. Applications should be submitted till 1st July 2014.

TWAS-SN Bose Ivory Coast Fellowship
Ivory Coast fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry. Applications must be submitted by 31 August 2014.

INSA JRD-Tata Fellowship Programme for Ivory Coast Students
The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) offers fellowship programme for Ivory Coast students. About 10 fellowships are awarded annually. The maximum period of award will be for three months. Selection is based on the recommendations of a committee consisting of eminent scientists. Last date of submitting applications is 31st October 2014.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme available for Ivory Coast students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance. The application deadline is 31st August 2014.

SFIAR Awards for Ivory Coast Students in Switzerland
The Swiss Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) is offering award in agricultural research. The prize sum of the SFIAR Award is CHF 5’000 for a PhD or Post Doc project and CHF 10’000 for a team project. Applications must be submitted by 15th July 2014.
