MS International Federation McDonald Fellowships for Developing Countries in UK, 2015
MS International Federation is awarding a number of McDonald Fellowships to young researchers from emerging countries. Fellowships enable the recipient to travel to an established research institution to work with leading researchers in MS with a view to returning to their own country to establish a programme of MS research. The fellowship consists of a two-year grant, around UK £30,000 per year, to cover travel and living costs, and an additional contribution of UK £2,000 per year to the host institution. The deadline for nominations is 30 June 2016.

Chancellor’s Masters Scholarships for Moldovan Students
University of Sussex is inviting applications for Chancellor’s International Scholarships to pursue postgraduate taught programme. Total 25 scholarships are available for international student. Scholarship covers 50% off international student tuition fee. The scholarships are offered for one year. Students who hold other University of Sussex scholarships will not be eligible for the Chancellors International Scholarship. The application deadline is 2 May 2016.

Vedomosti Global Executive MBA Scholarships for CIS Countries’ Students
Applications are invited for “Vedomosti” Scholarships for global executive MBA programme, jointly offered by the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the University of Minnesota. The program provides a unique 360° global vision with expert insights into international management best practice on 3 continents. The value of each partial scholarship is € 10,000. The application deadline is February 29, 2016.

Jay Jordan IFLA/OCLC Early Career Development Fellowship Program
The International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and OCLC jointly sponsor up to five individuals annually to participate in a four-week intensive Early Career Development Fellowship program based at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, USA. The Fellows visit many libraries, cultural heritage institutions and library organizations. Promising library and information science professionals from Developing Countries who are in early stages of career development and who meet all of the qualifications are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is February 12, 2016.

Visby Programme Scholarships for Moldovan Students
The Visby Scholarship provides PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with an opportunity to conduct research at Swedish universities within all fields of study. There are about 40 Visby scholarships offered for the academic year 2016/2017. The scholarship is free of tax and amounts to SEK 15,000 per month for PhD students and SEK 18,000 per month for postdoctoral researchers and senior scientists. The application deadline is 16 January 2016.

Gerda Henkel Fellowships for Moldovan Students at New Europe College
Applications are invited for Gerda Henkel Fellowship from young researchers / academics working in the fields of humanities and social sciences. The selected Fellows are expected to take part in the weekly seminars at the institute together with all the other Romanian and international scholars present at NEC, and in other scientific events organized by the institute. Preference will be given to candidates below the age of 45, and to those who have not yet benefited from a Fellowship at NEC. The application deadline is December 9, 2015.

Pontica Magna Fellowship for Moldovan Students
The New Europe College awards residential fellowship for young researchers, media professionals, writers and artists to pursue a meaningful project of their own at the NEC. Candidates can apply for one academic year (10 months, starting with October 2016), or one term (5 months, starting with October 2016 or with March 2017). Fellows are granted a monthly stipend of 750 € plus accommodation and travel expenses. The application deadline is December 7, 2015.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters’ fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. The application deadline is 7 December 2015.

Japan Foundation for UNU (JFUNU) Scholarship Programme
United Nations University is offering sustainability scholarship for outstanding applicants from developing countries to undertake MSc programme. The JFUNU scholarship provides a monthly allowance of 150,000 JPY for living expenses for a maximum of 24 months. The tuition fees are fully waived for the scholarship recipients. During admission selection process, outstanding applicants with financial need will be automatically considered as candidates for the award of the JFUNU scholarship. Thus, no separate application is necessary. The application deadline is 27 February.

3ie Scholarship for Developing Countries at University of East Anglia
University of East Anglia is inviting applications for 3ie scholarship. One 3ie scholarship is available for applicants from less developed countries who apply for a place on the Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. The Scholarship covers £10,000 of the course tuition fee and one return economy flight. The scholarship is provided to study Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. All applicants are expected to have met the School’s English language requirements and been offered and accepted a place on the course by this date. The application deadline is 30 May 2015.

ICO Three-Month Fellowships in Ophthalmology
Fellowships provide young ophthalmologists with exposure to and training in several subspecialties in ophthalmology. Applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of applying. The fellowships will include S$6000 (maximum) to cover travel and living expenses. The application deadline is September 30 each year.

EDCTP-TDR Clinical Research and Development Fellowship Scheme
EDCTP and TDR are jointly awarding clinical research fellowships for the researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). For EDCTP, the applicant must be the legal entity registered in a sub-Saharan African country employing the fellow. Fellowships are awarded to acquire experience and develop skills for conducting clinical trials outside of an academic or public sector setting. The application deadline is 30 January.

ANZCA International Scholarship in Australia or New Zealand
Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists is offering training scholarship available for the citizens of a developing country to pursue additional training in Australia or New Zealand. The scholarship is designed to increase the recipient’s capacity to advance anaesthesia and/or pain medicine for the benefit of his or her community. The scholarship is intended to allow the recipient to join the staff of a major hospital or rotation in Australia or New Zealand for a period of up to one year. The application deadline is March 30th, 2015.

TWAS Research Grants Programme in Basic Sciences (Consortia) for Developing Countries
Applications are invited for TWAS research grants available for a period of 18 months. Grants are awarded to high-level promising research projects in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics carried out by research consortia in the 81 S&T-lagging countries identified by TWAS. Applications from women scientists and those working in Least Developed Countries are especially encouraged. Research Grants to research consortia amount to a maximum of USD20,000. The deadline for receiving applications is 31 August.

ISA Call Applications for COMRA Fellowship and Engineering Training Programme
The International Seabed Authority invites applications for training fellowship to provide on-land training opportunities in 2015 for four trainees from developing States. COMRA will pay for a round-trip airline tickets (economy class) for the trainees. Local ground transportation, accommodations, travel insurance and allowance will be also provided by COMRA. Two trainees will receive training in a five-month fellowship programme between March and July 2015 and another two trainees for a six-week engineering training programme between March and April 2015. The application deadline is 20 January.

TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 
TWAS-BIOTEC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is available for young scientists from Moldova. BIOTEC will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applicants must apply for the fellowship within five years of having obtained a PhD degree. The application deadline is 15 September.

Call for ESD Moldova Scholarships
Moldova scholarships are available for nine-month training program at Estonian School of Diplomacy in Tallinn. Applicants must be currently employed by the foreign service of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and has been employed there at least one year. These Moldova scholarships are awarded for a period of nine-month. The application deadline is May 31.

TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Moldova Fellowship
Applications are invited for Moldova fellowship awarded to young scientists who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in physical sciences. Fellowship includes a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences. The deadline for applications is 15 September.

University of Glasgow Moldova Scholarships
University of Glasgow is offering Moldova scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students. To be eligible applicants must be a registered student at the University of Glasgow or a student who graduated in the year of application for the scholarship. 7 Moldova scholarships will be awarded. The value of scholarship varies from £1,150.00 – £1,700.00. Applications will close on 1st June.

TWAS-CONACYT Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
TWAS and CONACYT are inviting applications for TWAS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship programme. Moldova fellowships cover standard monthly allowance and a fixed amount for mandatory health insurance coverage. Applicants must prove knowledge of Spanish or provide a certificate of proficiency in English. The application deadline is 15 September.

TWAS-UPM Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Moldova fellowships are available for pursuing postdoctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). UPM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in a field of the natural sciences. The application deadline is 15th September.

TWAS-ICCBS Fellowship Program for Moldovan Students
Moldova fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme. ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, local transportation and incidental illness. Applicants must provide a certificate of good health from a qualified medical doctor. The deadline for applications is 31st August.

TWAS-IACS Fellowship Program for Moldovan Students
Moldova fellowships are available for undertaking research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS). Applicants must be of 30 years of maximum age for postgraduate and 40 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. Applications must be submitted by 31st August.

TWAS-USM Fellowship Program
Moldova fellowships are obtainable for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral programme at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). USM will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation and food. Applications will close on 15th September.

Developing Solutions Masters Moldova Scholarships
Moldova scholarships are accessible for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Nottingham in Malaysia. 15 scholarships of 100% tuition fee are available for Moldova students registering for taught Masters programmes at Malaysia Campus. The application deadline is 9 October 2015 for December intake.

MOFCOM Master Degree Moldova Scholarships 
The Government of the People’s Republic of China through the Government of Fiji is offering master degree Bahamas scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded for a period of one year. The age of applicants should be between 20 to 40. Scholarship is available to study master program in any one of these universities: East China Normal University [ECNU], Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU), Beijing Normal University, Jilin University and Peking University (PU) in China. The application deadline varies for each university.

TWAS-icipe Fellowship Program
International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe) is offering fellowship program for Moldovan students. Applicants must have official acceptance at an eligible department, institution or laboratory at icipe. Three PhD fellowships and one postdoctoral fellowship will be awarded. Closing date for submitting applications is 15th September.

TWAS-CEMB Fellowship Program
Fellowships for Moldovan students are available for undertaking research at postgraduate (PhD) and postdoctoral level. Applicants must be a maximum age of 35 years for PhD and 45 years for postdoctoral programme on 31 December of the application year. The deadline for applications is 31st August.

INSA JRD-Tata Fellowship Programme for Modovan Students
The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) offers fellowship programme for Bahamian students. About 10 fellowships are awarded annually. The maximum period of award will be for three months. Selection is based on the recommendations of a committee consisting of eminent scientists. Last date of submitting applications is 31st October.

LJMU Roscoe International Scholarship
Liverpool John Moores University is awarding international scholarships for one year taught Masters programme at the University. The scholarships will consist of full tuition fee waiver worth up to £12,000. In order to be considered for this scholarship applicants must have an overall English IELTS score of 7.0 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in each component) or recognised equivalent. The application deadline is 2 June 2015.

TWAS-CSIR Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for pursuing research at postgraduate and postdoctoral level at laboratories and institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of India. The minimum period of this programme is six months and maximum is twelve months. The application deadline is 31st August of each year.

TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Applications are invited for TWAS-DBT Postgraduate Fellowship Programme accessible for Moldovan students. Fellowships are tenable at key biotechnology research institutions in India for a period of up to five years. DBT will provide a monthly stipend to cover for living costs, food and health insurance. The deadline for applications is 31st August.

TWAS-SN Bose Moldova Fellowship
Moldova fellowship is available for pursuing research at PhD and Postdoctoral level at S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree/PhD degree in physics, mathematics or physical chemistry. Applications must be submitted by 31 August.

College of Social Science International Scholarship Scheme
University of Leicester is inviting application for college of social science Moldova scholarship scheme for pursuing taught-masters degree level. Students with partial scholarships from other sources will be considered. Scholarships are offered for one year. Scholarship has a value of £2,500 GBP. The application deadline is 30th May.
