Canadian Government Doctoral Research Scholarships
Each year, the government of Canada offers doctoral research scholarships for international students. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing doctoral studies at Québec University in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering fields. The maximum annual value of the scholarship is $20 000. The scholarship holder may also receive up to nine payments totaling $60 000 during the nine sessions or 36 months. Georg Forster Research Fellowship for Bangladeshi Students
This fellowship is available for pursuing postdoctoral and research programme at research institution in Germany. The candidate’s own research profile documented by a comprehensive list of academic publications in reviewed journals and for publishing houses. Applications can be submitted no earlier than 01.07.2013 until mid-2015.
Early Career Development Fellowship for Bangladeshi Students
This fellowship is available for early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals. Applicants must have a qualifying degree in library or information science. They must have obtained the qualifying degree between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2013. Applications will close on February 14, 2014.
Development Scholarships for Bangladeshi Students
Scholarships for Bangladeshi students are available for pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level at Charles University. Students who are applying to study in one of the Bachelor’s studies or Master’s studies programmes at Faculty of Social Sciences from academic year 2014/15 can apply. The deadline for scholarship applications is 30th April 2014.
Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) for Bangladeshi Students
The Humboldt Foundation grants up to 80 Georg Forster Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers from developing and emerging countries. Applicants must have completed PhD or comparable academic degree for no more than four years the date of application. Applications may be submitted any time from 1.7.2013 until mid-2015.
Snorri Sturluson Icelandic Fellowships
This fellowship is for Bangladeshi students for pursuing research level. The research fellowship covers travel expenses to and from Iceland, plus living expenses while in the country. The fellowship period is of at least three months. Applications should be sent by ordinary mail (no e-mail application) no later than 31 October each year.
