UWS Postgraduate Country Scholarships in UK, 2014
University of the West of Scotland is offering country postgraduate scholarships for students from Bangladesh and Ghana. The Scholarships are competitive and are awarded on the basis of academic merit. 4 postgraduate scholarships, each worth £2,500 will be awarded as a tuition fee discount. The application deadline is 13 June 2014.

Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship Foundation in Japan, 2014
Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship Foundation is offering scholarships for the students of a country in Asia, the Middle East, Africa or citizens of Brazil, Russia, or the Czech Republic. Applicants must be majoring in medicine, pharmacology, nutrition, physical education or business administration in an official degree program at a university or graduate school in Japan. Approx. 80 scholarships will be awarded in fiscal 2014. Applications should be submitted till May 15, 2014.

Ghana Achievement Scholarship in UK
Sheffield Hallam University is offering Ghana scholarship worth £6,000 to full-time taught postgraduate courses starting in September 2014. This scholarship is not applied in conjunction with any other discount or scholarship, therefore those receiving the regional scholarship will not be eligible for the discount. The application deadline is 31st May 2014.

Gradlink Africa Scholarship at UWE Bristol University in UK, 2014
The Gradlink with UWE Bristol University is offering seven Africa scholarships for Ghanaian, Kenyan and Nigerian students. Recipients of this scholarship will be required to undertake an internship working with the Gradlink development team. This scholarship is for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree. Scholarships will be offered for the period of one academic year. Applicants can apply till 31st May 2014.

MRC TEG Training Fellowship Scheme in Medical Statistics, 2014
UK Medical Research Council (MRC) is offering training fellowship to undertake two years MSc training in Medical Statistics. For the first year the successful applicant will study for the MSc degree in Medical Statistics at the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (LSHTM). Applicants must be resident in and a national of a country in sub-Saharan Africa. Application should be submitted till 30th April 2014.

Ghana Sheffield Scholarships for Postgraduate Taught Masters Program
University of Sheffield is offering Ghana Sheffield scholarships for postgraduate taught masters program. The scholarships are for Ghanian students for full-time and part-time programme not for Distance Learning programme. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction. Students must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2014. The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is required. The application deadline is 27 June 2014.

WASCAL GRP on Climate Change and Agriculture, 2014/15
Applications are invited for WASCAL graduate research program on Climate Change (CC) and Agriculture (CC&Agric). Candidates must be from the WASCAL countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo) and must not be more than 40 years. Application should be submitted till March 31, 2014.

MSFS Scholarship for Sub-Saharan African Students in USA, 2015
Georgetown University is offering master scholarship for Sub-Saharan African students. Students will take courses in international relations, international trade, international finance, statistics and analytical tools and history. In addition, students choose an area of concentration such as Global Politics and Security, International Development or Global Business and Finance. Application should be submitted till January 15, 2015 for fall 2015.

TÜBITAK Graduate Scholarship Programme for Least Developed Countries in Turkey, 2014
Applications are invited for TÜBITAK graduate scholarship available for the citizens of least developed countries. Applicants must be 30 years old or younger for the MSc/MA programs and 35 years old or younger for the PhD programs on the first day of the application period. Applications will be accepted twice a year.

Newcastle University Scholarships for Ghanaian Students
Scholarships for Ghanaian students are available for pursuing postgraduate taught degree or research programmes at Newcastle University in UK. Applicants must have an upper-second-class honours degree or higher from a recognised Ghanaian university and satisfy all other requirements. Scholarships will be offered for the first year of the program. The application deadline is 30 June 2014.

College of Science Scholarships for Ghanaian Students

Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years and provide a basic salary. Preliminary application deadline is 25 April 2014 and full application deadline is 4 July 2014.

Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.

MBA Full-time Scholarship for Ghanaian Students
Scholarship for Ghanaian students is available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Strathclyde. One scholarship of £10,000 will be automatically deducted from tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of financial need. The deadline for applications is 31 May 2014.

Mo Ibrahim Foundation MSc Scholarship for Ghanaian Students
This scholarship for Ghanaian students is available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Birmingham in UK. Preference will be given to scholarship candidates living in Sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants should reach at least level 6.5 in the IELTS or 580 /93 for TOEFL. Applications will close on 19th May 2014.

University of Glasgow Country Scholarships for Ghanaian Students
Scholarships for Ghanaian students are available for pursuing postgraduate degree level at University of Glasgow. Applicants must hold the equivalent of an upper second class honours degree. The application deadline is 1 June 2014.

Royal College Prestigious Awards for Undergraduate Students 
Royal College, University of Strathclyde offers three prestigious awards for undergraduate students. The students of China, India, Malaysia, Ghana and many other nations can apply for these scholarships. 3 awards of £3000 each for tuition fees will be awarded. International Undergraduate Scholarships 
Scholarships for Ghanaian students are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at University of the West of Scotland. Applicants should have received an offer for entry into the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of the West of Scotland. Ford Motor Company International Fellowship
Ford Motor Company and 92nd Street Y are offering international fellowships. Each participant receives a stipend upon arrival. The fellowships will provide airfare, accommodation, food, transportation, instruction and other program-related expenses. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, with several years of leadership experience. The application deadline is June 30, 2014.

Steve Huckvale Scholarships for Ghanaian Students
Scholarships for Ghanaian students are available for pursuing full-time taught master’s degree at University of Bath. Each Scholarship is worth £5,000 and is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Scholarships cannot be deferred to a later year. The application deadline is 30th June 2014.

Dorothy Nicol Scholarship for Ghanaian Students
Scholarship for Ghanaian students is available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Stirling. Applicants must hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on any of the full-time Masters programmes offered by Stirling Management School for entry in September 2014. Duke of Portland Developing Solutions Scholarship for Ghanaian Students
University of Nottingham offers one full tuition fee scholarship for masters in UK. 1 Full Tuition Fee Scholarship is available for Ghanaian students. Scholarship will be offered for the duration of the program. Online application deadline is 25 April 2014.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for Ghanaian Students
Scholarships for Ghanaian students are available for pursuing master’s degree level at UK Institutions. A grant of up to £225 to cover thesis (Master’s) costs is available and £200 for study travel. Applicants must hold a first degree at either first or upper second class level. The application deadline is 16th April 2014.

University of Groningen Talent Grant
Applications are invited for University of Groningen Talent Grant for Excellent candidates from non-EEA countries. The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme. The amount of the partial scholarship is determined annually. Application should be submitted till 1st March, 2014.

TWAS Prizes for Developing Countries’ Scientists
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is awarding eight prizes of USD 15,000 each to individual scientist. Nominations of women scientists are particularly encouraged. Eight TWAS prizes will be awarded. Each prize is accompanied by a medal. The application deadline is 28th February 2014.

Early Career Development Fellowship
This fellowship is available for early career development and continuing education for library and information science professionals. Applicants must have at least three years, but no more than eight years, of library or information science experience. The application deadline is February 14, 2014.
