University of Ghana WACCBIP Postdoctoral Fellowship
Scholarship Provider: Department of Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology (BCMB) and the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), University of Ghana, and has several regional and international partner institutions.
Eligible Students: To apply for this fellowship, you must be an African who receivedhis/her PhD degree within the last three years and interested in developing a research career in the biosciences in Africa.
Course: Fellowship is awarded to pursue postdoctoral programme.
Award Details: The successful post doctoral fellow will be supported with up to $150,000 to cover: monthly salary, research supplies and reagents etc.

ECOWAS Research Grant Program for West African Researchers
Scholarship Provider: The Research Grant Program is supported by the ECOWAS Commission, the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID), the U.S National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Eligible Students: Research teams must comprise of young West African researchers of not more than 35 years of age (excluding Research Advisor(s)).

TWAS Prizes for Developing Countries’ Scientists
