Fellowships are available for research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. One scholarship will be offered. Applicants must hold an offer of a place on any of the full-time Masters programmes offered by Stirling Management School for entry in September 2014. Wellcome Trust International Engagement Awards
Wellcome Trust is offering awards for research applicants for 2014 intake. The awards will provide up to £30,000 for three years. African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships (ADDRF)
The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), in partnership with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is offering about 20 doctoral dissertation research fellowships. Each award will be up to a maximum of US$10,000. These fellowships will be awarded to doctoral students who are within two years of completing their thesis at an African university. Silk-Road Scholarship Program in Korea
SBS Foundation and Seoul National University are jointly funding Silk Road Scholarship for students wishing to study Humanities and Social Sciences. International applicants who are currently enrolling or who graduated from the eligible universities of the Silk-Road Scholarship Program and Potential graduate/PhD Students who applied for the designated department which participate with the Silk-Road Program for the Fall semester are eligible to apply. Five candidates will be selected for 2014 fall semester. Application should be submitted till March 21, 2014.
EASST Visiting Scholar Fellowship
This is a four-month fellowship programme. During a four-month fellowship, researchers will be based at the University of California Berkeley. Applicants must have to demonstrate a commitment to building the capacity of African research institutions/universities. The application deadline is March 26, 2014.
Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Ethiopians

University of Groningen Talent Grant
Applications are invited for University of Groningen Talent Grant for Excellent candidates from non-EEA countries. The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme. The amount of the partial scholarship is determined annually. Application should be submitted till 1st March, 2014.
International Students House Residential Scholarships for Ethiopians
Scholarships for Ethiopians are awarded for accommodation during the applicant’s study period in London. Scholarships provide free accommodation at ISH for up to a year and in exceptional circumstances up to three years. Preference will be given to postgraduate students.
