College of Business and Economics International Undergraduate Scholarship and Award in Australia

Each year the ANU College of Business & Economics (‘the College’) award undergraduate scholarships for international students. Applications are invited for Chinese Government scholarship-Chinese University Program from international students to pursue graduate studies at Chinese universities in specific provinces or autonomous regions. Applicant must a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health and be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs. OWSD Postgraduate Training Fellowships for Women

Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) is offering fellowships for women scientists from Sub-Saharan Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDC). TWAS-SN Bose Fellowship Programme, India

TWAS and the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences are offering fellowship programme for foreign scholars from developing countries to pursue PhD or Postdoctoral level research in physical sciences. TWAS-SN Bose Fellowships are tenable at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science in Kolkata, India. Fellowships are awarded for four years with the possibility of a one-year extension (PhD) and for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months (postdoctoral).

CICOPS Scholarships for Developing Countries at University of Pavia, Italy

Each year the University of Pavia and the Organisation for the Right to Education (EDiSU) offer 10 scholarships for visiting scholars for a period of stay of 4 to 10 weeks at the University of Pavia. Sichuan Provincial Government is awarding scholarships for foreign students. Scholarships are available for doctoral students, master students, undergraduate students, junior college student’s and long term students at higher education institutions, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges. The students will get the scholarship every year until they finish their study on the premise that they are approved by the institutions every year. The application form is accepted every year and it is from January to June.

KAAD Scholarships for Developing Countries’ Students

Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree or a PhD at a German university or do a postdoctoral research project (2-6 months for established university lecturers) at a German university. Applicants have to request through filling a questionnaire and sending it to the KAAD offices for applying to these scholarships. Applications to be tabled in the March-session of the selection board need to be completed by end of November the previous year. The application deadline is January 15.

UNESCO/ISEDC Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme

Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is offering scholarship for international students. Applicants must be citizens of a country given in the ‘Eligible List of Countries’ and satisfy any specific criteria established by his or her country or government. The TaiwanICDF provides each scholarship recipient with a full scholarship, including return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance.

Netherlands Fellowship Programme (NFP) for Developing Countries’ Students

Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation annually awards fully-funded Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP). The NFP is meant for professionals who are nationals of and work and live in one of the 51 NFP countries. Candidates have to be nominated by their employer to be eligible for the fellowship. NFP will be awarded for master degree programmes, PhD and short courses at a Dutch higher education institution which offers the NFP-qualified course. The chances of obtaining an NFP fellowship increase if applicants live and work in Sub-Saharan Africa and/or if they are women. Candidates now need to apply for an NFP fellowship directly at the Dutch education institution, instead of applying with Nuffic. Application deadlines are February, June and September.

Romanian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students, Romania

Applications are invited for Romanian Government scholarships available for citizens of non-EU countries. Up to 85 scholarships are awarded for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Romania. The monthly amount is granted to the students of the 1st (licence) and 2nd (master) cycle throughout the whole academic year, the winter and spring vacation included, but not during the summer vacation. For full-time students of the 3rd cycle (doctorate), the monthly amount is granted throughout the whole calendar year. The deadline for submitting the application files is established by each diplomatic mission.

Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships for German and International Students

Applications are open for Heinrich Boll Foundation scholarships available for German and international students. The foundation grant scholarships to approximately 1,000 for pursuing undergraduate, graduate & doctoral programme in all subjects offered at universities of applied sciences or universities of the arts in Germany. There are two types of scholarships i.e. student scholarship and doctoral scholarship which is offered for those students who gained their university entrance qualification in Germany to study in Germany or EU country and for those students who gained their university entrance qualification outside of Germany to pursue studies in Germany.

Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme for Developing Countries

Applications are invited for Hungarian Government Scholarship to undertake Master of Science degree courses (MSc) at one of the participating universities. The scholarship will cover application and tuition fees throughout the study period; basic books and notes; dormitory accommodation; and subsistence costs.

Beijing Government Scholarships for International Students

Applications are invited for Beijing government scholarships from international students studying or applying for studying in Beijing. Duration differs with respect to the subjects chosen. It takes around 4 to 5 years for undergraduates, 2 to 3 years for Masters degree candidates and 3 years for PhD degree candidates. The duration varies for Chinese language students, general scholar candidates and senior scholar candidates. An applicant receives financial support from otherChinese government scholarship programs or organizations/agencies would not be eligible for the Beijing Municipal Government Scholarship.

Darmasiswa Indonesian Scholarship Program for International Students

Indonesian Government is awarding Darmasiswa Scholarship to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia. This one year scholarship is awarded to study Bahasa Indonesia, Arts, Culinary and Tourism in 54 selected Indonesian Higher Education Institutions in different cities in Indonesia. Monthly allowance will be received by student is Rp 2.000.000,00 (two million rupiahs).

PhD Fellowships for Excellence at Biozentrum University

Bill Gates Scholarship at the University of Cambridge

Scholarships are available to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. 90 Scholarships are awarded annually. These are prestigious and highly competitive awarded to citizens of any country outside the UK. Bill gates scholarship covers the full cost of studying at Cambridge. The application deadline is December 3, 2019 or 7 January 2020.

Commonwealth Medical Fellowships for Developing Commonwealth Countries’ Students, UK

UK Department for International Development (DFID) is inviting application for Medical fellowships available for doctors and dentists from Developing Commonwealth Countries. These fellowships are for mid-career clinical staff to learn a new medical or dental skill, to practise the new medical or dental skill, and to network with others in the same and related specialties. Awards are tenable for between three months and six months at any approved UK University Hospital; experience suggests that a minimum of 4 months is sensible.

Graduate Support Scheme for International Students

London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London is inviting applications for graduate support scheme for international students. Around £2 million is available annually in the form of awards from the Graduate Support Scheme. This scheme is open to all applicants from all countries in the world, with the exception of those undertaking specific modular or executive programmes such as the MSc in Finance (Part-time) or the MSc in Health Economics, Policy and Management. 

Sir Mark Waller Postgraduate Law Scholarships

Newcastle Law School is offering up to five scholarships for international students. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence in results achieved up until and including the closing date which is commensurate with an upper-second-class Honours degree award or equivalent. The scholarships range from £2,500 to £3,000 each and they are payable towards tuition fees. There is no deadline or closing date for the scholarships. However, interested applicants are strongly advised to apply early.

New Zealand Development Government Scholarships for International Students

Australian Government invites applications for Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Award available for international students. The award is open to undertake vocational education at a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree level in any field of study. The award provides financial support for up to 2.5 years. The award also provides support for English Language Training worth of ?$6,500 per semester up to 6 months, if required.

Japanese Government Scholarships for International Students

Applications are open for MEXT Research Scholarships available to international students for the academic year. The term of scholarship will differ depending on the types of students as accepted in Japanese universities. Each grantee will be provided monthly with 143,000 yen (Research Students (non-regular students), 144,000yen (regular students in Master’s courses or professional graduate courses), or 145,000yen (regular students in doctoral courses). The deadline for applications varies according to the countries.

Each year Australian Government awards Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship for international students. The award provides financial support up to 2 years for a master’s and up to 4 years for a PhD.

DAAD Scholarships for International Developing Countries

DAAD, German Academic Exchange Service offers scholarships for developing countries students. These scholarships provide monthly installment of EUR 750.00. and also include the costs for health, accident and liability insurance in Germany and an adequate travelling allowance.

ISU Bocconi Scholarships in Italy

Applications are invited for Bocconi scholarships in Italy available for Italian students, EU-students and Non-EU students from Italian DPR n. 394 of 31 August 1999, enacting Italian D.Lgs. n. 286 of 25 July 1998. Total 520 scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships will be available for students who have been admitted as first-year enrollees at Bocconi or have submitted applications to the admissions test at Bocconi University, or have enrolled for the 2014-2015 academic year for a Bocconi University Bachelor, Integrated Master of Arts in Law, Master of Science or PhD program.

Mexican government awards for International Students

UNESCO/People’s Republic of China Co-Sponsored Fellowships

Fellowships are available for undertaking advanced studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level at Chinese universities. These UNESCO fellowships are of one-year duration. The Chinese authorities will select the twenty-five (25) most qualified candidates. Applicants must hold at least the equivalent of the master’s degree/above or the bachelor’s degree. Applications will open in January.

DAAD Master Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance 

Scholarships are provided in disciplines that are of special relevance for the social, political and economic development of applicant’s home country. A monthly scholarship rate of currently 750 € will be awarded. Scholarships also provide health insurance, travel allowance as well as a study and research subsidy. The scholarships are offered both for young graduates without professional experience and for mid-career professionals.

Onassis Foundation- 20th Foreigners’ Fellowships Programme

This programme is available for scholarly research or artistic creation in Greece and in Humanities, Social Science, Economic Science and Arts. Up to 15 in category A scholarships are awarded for three to six months and up to 10 in Category C educational scholarship are awarded for five to ten months.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships

The Government of Canada offers PhD scholarships for Canadian and international students in Canada.  The scholarship is offered for three years. Each Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship is valued at $50,000 per year. Students must be nominated by only one Canadian university, which must have received a Vanier CGS allocation.  Each year the application deadline for Commonwealth Scholarships falls in November.

Vice-Chancellor Scholarships for International Students

The scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree level at Manchester Metropolitan University in UK. JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Overseas Researchers

Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) annually awards postdoctoral fellowship to foreign researchers for a period of 12 to 24 months.
